Back in January we learned the happy news that fashion designer Marc Jacobs got married to his longtime boyfriend Lorenzo Martone and today we are hearing that the couple have reportedly split! Thus far, there has been no official confirmation from either party but according to the New York Post, they’ve reportedly been telling friends privately that they are over. Could it be? Are Marc and Lorenzo really dunzo?

Fashion world power couple Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone have split — for now. “They’ve both been telling people that they broke up,” friends said. Martone shot down rumors this month that he’d moved out of the Chelsea Merchantile apartment he shared with Jacobs, but sources say he’s planning to go soon. Martone wasn’t with Jacobs in Provincetown last week for the wedding of Jacobs’ business partner, Robert Duffy. Jacobs served as best man. A rep for Jacobs said, “We don’t comment on Marc’s personal life.” Martone also declined to comment.

Considering Jacobs‘s track record, I can totally see how the end of his relationship might come this quickly … but I’m having a hard time believing that the couple — who have been dating for years now — would decide to split so soon after they took the official plunge and got married. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if this break-up report really pans out but I’m hoping it’s just a nasty rumor. It’d be a shame for another celeb marriage to Peace the Spork Out like this :(

Alas, I am not doing very well today. After hanging out with Darion — who just go over being sick — on Friday night (not that I’m blaming him, the jerk!) and enjoying a very bizzy day on Saturday, I awoke yesterday with a massively sore throat. Most of the day yesterday was spent in bed, but I did manage to drag myself to the couch so that I could watch the Sex and the City movie again for the umpteenth millionth time:

Unfortch it wasn’t enough to make me feel better cuz today I’m feeling a bit worse. The throat doesn’t hurt as much but I’m feeling achy all over. Damn Darion!!! Actually, I’m kidding around … I’m sure it wasn’t him who gave me the plague. Today might be a shorter blogging day for me so that I can drink some Nyquil and pass out. Blech. Earlier today we saw a few cute pics of David Beckham and his sons hanging out with Tom Brady and his son at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA over the weekend … but Becks is no longer in SoCal as he popped up on this mornings episode of Good Morning America to talk a bit about his family, his injury and his sad exclusion from this year’s World Cup tournament:

Soccer superstar David Beckham dropped by “Good Morning America” today to talk a little football — or soccer, for us Americans. Despite an injury that will keep him benched, Beckham said he intend to head to South Africa for the FIFA World Cup in June.

I understand that our dear Becks will be making the rounds on all the NYC TV shows this week to hype up his sidelined participation in the World Cup this June. As I passed along last week, Becks will also be appearing on The View this week … I suspect he’ll be appearing a few other shows as well. Popstar Beyoncé, who is currently on vacay in Hawaii with her family — including her sister Solange and her son Daniel, suffered a bit of a wardrobe malfunction while playing on the beach with her nephew over the weekend. Beyoncé let Daniel bury her up to her neck in the sand but when she emerged from her sandy cocoon, one of her nipples tried to escape from her bathing suit:

Almost every inch of the singer’s bootylicious body was covered by Daniel, the young son of her sister Solange. The pair had an hilarious time – and the moment was captured for posterity by the superstar’s camera-wielding husband Jaz-Z. Daniel did a pretty thorough job, leaving only her face peeking out. Whether he captured the moment his wife’s top fell open, only the slideshow back at the ranch will tell. But as the left halter-neck strap fell to one side she certainly showed more of her sandy charms than intended. Beyonce, 28, was enjoying a break before she continues work on her fourth studio album.

Over the weekend, fútbol player David Beckham and his sons — Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David — met up up football player Tom Brady and his eldest son, John Edward Thomas, for a bit of male bonding at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA together. It was a chance for the two young sporting families to get together to kick around the soccer ball and toss around the pig skin as one big group of BFFs … behold:

Injured soccer star David Beckham took his sons to play with a different shaped football at the weekend. The England midfielder took his family to visit the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena for the UCLA (University Of California, Los Angeles) spring game. And there Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, seven, and Cruz, five, met up with star New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Brady, who is married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen, was accompanied by his own son John Edward Thomas (JET) Moynahan, two. Wearing an All Saints T-shirt with an unusual skull print, featuring the slogan ‘Houston We Have A Touchdown’ printed on the front, Cruz got stuck in to a game of throw and catch with Brady. But Beckham had to console his son when he was hit in the face by the ball and had a little cry. However he was soon back in the thick of things, soldiering on just as his football playing father has done on the pitch.

Yeah, that big meanie Tom Brady managed to chuck the football at Cruz hard enough to bang into his face and make the poor little guy cry. Had Becks not been nursing his torn Achilles tendon, he prolly would’ve kicked a soccer ball missile at little John‘s head in retaliation. Yeah, these guys mean business.
