Called 'Untitled Marital Crisis Comedy'
Ryan Gosling & Steve Carell Film An Untitled Marital Crisis Comedy

Here are a couple photos of funny man Steve Carell and hottie man Ryan Gosling filming a scene at Westfield Century City here in LA this past Monday for their new film Untitled Marital Crisis Comedy. As far as I know, and according to IMDB, this is the actual name of the film … kinda in the same vein as the spoof comedy film Not Another Teen Movie. In any event, Steve and Ryan looked quite the bosom buddies on set earlier this week:

As I understand it, Steve plays a guy whose wife (played by Julianne Moore) wants a divorce … so he goes to a life coach (played by Ryan Gosling) to try and save his marriage. I would assume there will be quite the opportunity for Carell‘s comedic stylings to provide the laughter. You know, as much as I love Ryan Gosling in serious dramatic roles, I think I love him even more when he’s being funny. He was amazing in Lars and the Real Girl and that was fairly humorous. I’m guessing that he will be showcasing his comedic talents in this new flick. We’re gonna hafta wait until next year to see Untitled Marital Crisis Comedy in theaters but if Gosling is in it, I’ll be there to see it.

"Aaahhhhhhhh ... you've overloaded the system!!!"
Kylie Minogue Puts Fans In A Frenzy

Yesterday we learned the amazing news that Kylie Minogue is releasing a new single called All the Lovers in June and a new album titled Aphrodite in July … news that was so desired by fans that her official website crashed due to all the rabid traffic. Kylie gave her fans the head’s up Monday night that she would be making an announcement on her website Tuesday morning … once word spread that she was previewing her new single, everyone logged onto her site at once … overloading the server. Now that’s fan devotion. Here are a couple photos of Kylie Minogue leaving her London apartment yesterday just after she announced the release of her new music lookin’ as bright and stylish as ever:

Fans of popstar Kylie Minogue were so desperately awaiting to hear the preview of her new single, that they crashed her official website after she posted the clip. The ‘Spinning Around’ hitmaker excited devotees by announcing she would have “extra special” news to share on her website and posted a 30-second video of the song ‘All The Lovers’ online. But the website crashed after thousands of eager fans logged in at the same time. “Aaahhhhhhhh … you’ve overloaded the system!!! arrgggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!… That is the strength of your combined power!!!!!!! OMG (Oh my God)!!!,” Minogue wrote on her Twitter page. However, the website was soon fixed up and the fans were treated to the special preview of the song, which is due for release on 28 June, prior to the launch of her new album, Aphrodite in July, Contactmusic reported. “I am so happy to share this little snippet of the first single with you all,” Minogue wrote in another post, after her website started running again.

Now that we know that Kylie has a new single and a new album on the way, we need to pay extra special close attention to her official website and her Twitter profile. I suspect that Kylie will be giving sneak peeks of her new album as the release date July 5 draws near. I am SO excited to hear and see more … this has to be the Summer album I am most looking forward to now! Wee!! Kylie is back!

Um ...
Heidi Klum Shows Off Her New Hair’Do

Supermodel and Project Runway host Heidi Klum, never one to shy away from rockin’ daring new looks for the sake of style and fashion, debuted a new hair’do yesterday on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno … and I can’t decide if I hate it or not. It is usually the case that Heidi Klum can do no wrong but now that she’s lopped off most of her hair, I’ve determined that I may have to rethink my position. Here are a few photos of Heidi‘s new short ‘do, which I honestly think makes her look older:

Throughout her supermodel career, Heidi Klum has been known for long, glossy honey blonde hair tumbling as far as her famous assets. But the German mother-of-four has decided it’s time for a change – and with four children to look after her new short bob is certainly more practical. Klum, 36, debuted the look yesterday on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show, wearing a cream shift dress and Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels. She told Leno: ‘I got bored as we all do once in a while as girls. Whenever I get bored I change it. I grow it then cut it, grow it then cut it. ‘For some people they never change it and it works for them but for me I get bored. Clearly in a fun-loving mood after her trip to the stylists, the Project Runway host then turned the table on the host and decided to give him a new look. ‘You have hair, not like my husband (Seal),’ she said. ‘You can actually do something with it.’

No … no, I don’t like it. I do give Heidi props for her bold style choices but this bobbed ‘do just ain’t doing it for me. She’s lookin’ a bit too Carol Brady for my taste. That being said, I have to admit that I still think Heidi can do no wrong. I can’t blame her for making a huge change like this, especially with Summer on the way … but, yeah, I’m hoping she grows it out again. What do y’all think … do you like this look?

The new NME interview
‘Courtney Love Is Dead’, Says Courtney Love

The artist formerly known as Courtney Love is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of the British music magazine NME in a coverstory interview where she explains that “Courtney Love” is dead. Courtney, whose real full name is Courtney Michelle Harrison, has decided that we’ve all had enough of “Courtney Love“, so she has decided to kill her … or some such ridiculousness. Here is Courtney Michelle, as she would like to be known from here on out, on the cover of the new issue of NME along with some excerpts from this new interview:

What’s in a name? Courtney Love’s about to find out. Sorry, Courtney Michelle’s about to find out. The ever, um, eccentric Hole frontwoman has announced that she will professionally revert back to her real name—well, real middle name—and henceforth answer only to Courtney Michelle (her birth name is Courtney Michelle Harrison). “Courtney Love is dead,” she told Britain’s NME magazine. “We’ve all decided we don’t like her anymore. We love her when she goes onstage, but I don’t need her in the rest of my life.” And lest you think this new name is little more than a rock star’s passing fancy or attempt to channel her inner Sasha Fierce, think again: “Courtney Love is a way to oppress me,” she explained. Yeah, those surnames can be so domineering! Sadly, her record company didn’t quite get the memo, announcing just last week that Hole, led by Courtney Love, will be going on tour this summer following the release of its new album, Nobody’s Daughter. The veracity of her moniker swap will no doubt be tested next week, when Courtney…Whatever makes the late-night rounds.

For the first time in YEARS, Courtney Love Michelle Whatever finally has a chance to win back some modicum of respect now that she is about to release a new album that has been fairly well received by critics and fans. Doing stupid crap like changing one’s name will only serve to confuse people and may likely discredit her attempt to return to the world of music. Courtney, my dear, the name change didn’t work for Prince — arguably one of THE most talented musicians of all time — what makes you think it’ll work for you? After the jump, check out one more photo featured in this issue of NME magazine …
