On Thursday we got our first look at the first promo trailer for the upcoming sequel film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse but Pink reader Amanda pointed me to a different video that is much more exciting and gives us a much better feel for the next installment of The Twilight Saga. I understand that this behind the scenes, on set video is included on the DVD release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon (which will be released on March 20, you can pre-order it HERE). I’m fairly certain that the most rabid of Twihards already have this DVD in their possession and are prolly well aware of this video. But, for the rest of us mere mortals who have to wait for the DVD’s release and who have yet to see it (and/or for those of you who simply can’t get enough), you can check out the full length 2-minute sneak peek video after the jump …
Now this is a great film. Bryce Dallas Howard still annoys me as Victoria but I really dig this behind the scenes look at the film. Hopefully there will be more of this sort of promo to come in the months and weeks leading up to the release of Eclipse in June. What do y’all think … is this vid cool or what?

i’ve just finished watching the first movie on TV. Meh, don’t know what the fuss is all about. It was sloooow, the acting pretty bad and I’m sorry, but Robert Pattisnon just creeps me out. The story wasn’t too bad I guess, but not riveting. I only ever read a couple of chapters of the book before giving it away, but the movie was a little better. I’ll probably wait until the next movie is on TV too…not something I’d pay for. lol
This clip does show a lot more of everyone else. Although Twilight is a love story/ triangle, there is so much more to tell, and the other films especially the first one left it all out. Im looking forward to the “Darker Side” and for everyone else to get there storys out. They left out Alice and Carlise, so hopfully they wont leave out Japser or Rose. Cool clip though, but they really should have kept Rachelle. SHE MADE VICTORIA! BDH has some big shoes to fill.
I really don’t like the new Victoria at all!! Rachelle Lefevre was just brilliant as Victoria and she really tapped what I thought the character was – this new girl has a lot to live up to in my book because this is Victoria’s time to shine and I think it’s a pity Rachelle didn’t get a lash at it,
This clip was more exciting than that good-for-nothing teaser trailer. Eclipse was is favorite book of the series, my climax …. before it all went down to an abyss with Breaking Dawn. Eclipse was kind of my last hoorah. We’ll see.

Yeah, this video is so much more exciting than the trailer. I like Bryce DH, but what’s up with that horrible wig? It looks like a Ronald Mc Donald mop on top of her head.
What do they keep doing to Jasper’s hair?!?! He was the only one with good hair in the first one.

I totally agree, whats with the bad wigs!! all of them have different hair, i think they need to just find one good wig and stick with it!!!

@Manda – cause the guy who plays Jasper (blanking on his name) im pretty sure cut his hair inbetween filmings so..he kind ahad to have the wig.
Eclipse was my fav book of the series. Not excited about seeing the movies anymore.

in the first movie, jackson (jasper)’s hair was dyed from his natural brown … now he wears a wig
@manda- Yea, I heard/read someone that everyone from the Cullen family (except Esme and Alice) had to dye their hair and the chemicals were really strong. That is why Rosalie’s, Carlisle’s, and Jasper’s hair look so weird in the second movie… all wigs!
This clip thing is really exciting! It showed other other characters besides Edward, Bella, and Jacob!

@pegs uh, I know that, but it doesn’t explain why they keep making it worse and worse for every movie. I think Summit seriously has the worst budget on earth for wigs for all of the cast LOL
