I came here tonight because this came out almost on top of my search for Down Syndrome and the twins. I don’t think anyone is saying anything negative about anyone who has it. I think we’re just curious and concerned. I know how special and wonderful these incredibly loving children can be. I also know it’s a private family matter, if indeed it is true, I just thought that with the HUGE media platform their parents have that so much good could be done by being open about it. Again, if its true, and again, they ultimately have the absolute right to decide what is best for their children and family. It’s just that like so many people who have come to care for them, and see them as a kind of role model for living life in a meaningful way, I wonder. There was this long absence of photographs and then a trickle of pictures where my instinct just takes me to this place of wondering, as sweet and adorable and perhaps similar in looks to Shiloh as they may appear, they also realllllly look like they have the traditional shaped heads, faces, and hands of DS darlings. Not ever wanting to wish any further challenges on any child or family I just simply thought they would bring so much accceptance and understanding to families with DS children and of course the children themselves. I’d never heard the same rumours about Shiloh.
