‘Tron: Legacy’ Releases A New Movie Trailer
Like Father, Like Son

The long-awaited, much-anticipated sequel Tron: Legacy won’t be released in theaters until December of this year but a new trailer for the film is showing in front of screenings of Alice In Wonderland. Because David and I attended an early screening of Wonderland, we were not able to see any trailers before the film so I’ve yet to see this new Tron 2 trailer on the big screen (and in 3D). Still, the trailer has been made available for viewing online … here are a few screencaps:

I’m a BIG fan of the original film — which stars new Academy Award-winning actor Jeff Bridges — and I am really excited for this sequel. This trailer looks goood, y’all. In case you’ve yet to see it or just want another look, you can watch the full length trailer for Tron: Legacy after the jump …

I’m such a geek for this film. Tron blew MY MIND when I was a kid in the 80′s, I can only hope this new 3D sequel can do the same for a new generation of fans. I’m really excited for its release … it’s a shame we still have almost a year left to wait to see it. Are there any Tron fans out there? What do y’all think of this new trailer?

You’re a “BIG fan” of anything old that suddenly becomes popular again. Strange.

I remember playing the tron motorcycle video came a billion times. I also had the motorcycle toy which was beyond awesome. But I can’t remember for the life of me what the movie was about? The clip makes it look like a futuristic olympics? Why are they forced to play frisbie? None the less It looks pretty cool -I can’t believe they got Jeff Bridges, that shows there not fucking around.

I’m thinking I will have to see it twice in the theaters. once to get all fangirly and ridiculous…and another time so I can actually pay attention to the movie. :)

I miss the old music. Walter/Windy Carlos was a pioneer of the synthesizer.
