‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Releases A Movie Trailer

Yesterday we got a sneak peek at a 10-second preview clip teasing the first full length movie trailer for the upcoming sequel film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse … and right now we get our first look at the full trailer:
As expected, this clip shows all of the major players in the Eclipse story … of course, included is the complicated love triangle made up of Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. Also included are the bad guys … the Volturi Vampires and evil Victoria (who is now being played by Bryce Dallas Howard). This trailer doesn’t give too much away … but it does give a pretty good indication of what’s going to go down in this installment of The Twilight Saga. Okay Twihards … what do y’all think? I, personally, would’ve liked a bit more action but … I get it … they are trying to build the suspense. I deffo want to see more … how about YOU?

i think even in the trailers Rachelle had more presence, but i’m gona try stay open minded until the film…and now i really wanna see Jasper in his uniform!

I read the books – totally a “skeleton in my closet”. Haven’t watched the movies, because really, I don’t want to waste any more time than I already have on this poorly writen mormon manga story – hello teen angst!
That being said, Robert Pattinson mayyyyyy be able to pursuade me to rent it when it comes out on dvd.
Why are they trying to make it so serious? It’s almost borderline emo! I’m still gonna see it nonetheless. I don’t like Bryce Dallas Howard at all! She looks horrible and fug. Bella looks like a man. Edward’s face…something weird is going on there. But to be honest, the Twilight books has no action whatsoever which pissed me off about the series. They had so much potential to be action packed and whenever something good was going to happen, it abruptly got solved like that and stopped the climax. Oh well.
Bryce’s hair looks really bad. very unbelievable. She’s trying way too hard to look like a bitch.
I hope they have the scene where Bella puts her blood on the trees and bushes to lead the NewBorns to the field and her blood doesn’t bother Edward at all. :)

It looks like they tried WAY too hard to make Bryce look like Rachelle in the movie…I mean, look at the hair and the way she looks. If they wanted to make her look so much like Rachelle they should’ve just kept her! I’m going to miss Rachelle in this movie…

Wow, awful trailer. The New Moon one was much better. I’m sure Eclipse will be good though.
Yessssss…..so excited. BDH looked better than I thought she would have…at least from this trailer she does. Still love Rachelle more. Can’t wait for more Eclipse stuff to come out!!!
@Brittany-The Twilight saga seems to make any actor or actress seem terrible. I mean, in New Moon they even managed to make Dakota Fanning look like a bad actress. However, in other movies, some of these actors/actress’ can hold their own and actually show that they do have talent. I guess it just depends on the movie.
But seeing as how these movies came from badly written books. I doubt any of the movies will be ‘amazing’. But that may just be me. On another note: Does anyone know if Eclipse will be last Twilight saga movie? Or are they going to be making breaking dawn too?
@Ama I’m assuming they’re waiting to see how Eclipse does financially before going ahead with Breaking Dawn. I’m very curious how they’re going to do Breaking Dawn since that was such a weird book.

I totally agree about Breaking Dawn!! While I was reading all these books, Twilight was recently coming to theatres and I often wondered while reading that book how they could make it a movie.. it is very strange. buuut i wondered that with the second one, the whole transforming into a wolf.. i wasnt sure how they could pull that off, the first movies effects were painful enough..( the fast running up the hill followed with a spider monkey quote..terrible,still makes me cringe) i’m sure they will because there is no way they won’t make money on this movie. This saga is laced with crack, it’s so addicting.. and I will deny loving it to the grave to any non-random-internet ppl.
I hated twilight when I first saw it, and I am not even a huge fan of the books or the other movie but something about it is such a guilty pleasure… the acting is terrible.. the storyline is pure cheese.. it’s like watching and episode of saved by the bell, i love it.
I feel like it’s probably because i secretly wish love like that existed with some sexy guy i could live for an eternity with having steamy sex. yea.. thats definitely it…and that is all.

…only so the films can be out and get the feck out of the cinemas and away into the past. So sick and tired of the Twilight crap.
If they manage to make the final book into a decent movie, they’d deserve an oscar. Only a great scriptwriter and director could make sense of that fan-fiction style garbage.
Why is Edward so gloomy and pale?
Because all this Robsten thing It is really difficult for me to see the connection between bella and jacob, and I haven’t read the books (don’t plan to read ‘em either)… but I’m not feeling bella’s “strugle” at all! and jacob ends up rather annoying and edward just lame… and bella lamer… xD
i love the books…read them all twice…the first two movies have been OK…but a bit disappointing..but this trailer is soooo boring! i don’t know that i’ll have the same excitement to see this one. where’s the action?? where’s the scary redhead?? where is any hint of good acting?? this trailer is missing it all.
I will wait to see more trailers as it nears to June 30th. This will not be the only trailer. It’s unfortunate that “movie schedule conflicts” were the result of the TPTB to make the Victoria change. I hope BDH delivers in this 3rd installment.
