Pax Thien & Shiloh Nouvel Go To A Birthday Party
Reconfig

Earlier this week we saw photos of Brangelina taking the baby twins out for ice cream just a day before they took their eldest sons for a trip to a museum in Venice, Italy (where the Brangelina bunch will be living for the foreseeable future while Angelina Jolie films her new film The Tourist). Today we get to see photos of Angelina and daddy Brad Pitt (not pictured) taking their son Pax Thien and daughter Shiloh Nouvel to a kiddie birthday party in Venice this weekend:

As I mentioned before, with a gaggle of kids as large as Brangelina has it makes sense that they would break them up into smaller configurations for various outings. This is the third configuration of kids we’ve seen from them this week. I think it’s safe to say that Brangelina will NOT be attending the Academy Awards here in Hollywood, CA tonight. After they attended all of the awards shows last year to lose all the awards they were nominated for (Ange for Changeling, Brad for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) I’m guessing they’ve had their fill of awards show loss for a while. Ah well. It looks like they and the kids are enjoying Venice, tho! Good for them!!

Brangelina is a sham! I feel sorry for those kids.

  2. Trixey T. says:

Shiloh is such a cute little boy!

    @Trixey – LOL!

  4. Joanna says:

John looks so much Like Jayden James it’s scary

  5. Vicky says:

I feel sorry for her, it’s almost like they are trying to make her ugly or something. Not that she could ever be “ugly” but I mean a kid at her age doesn’t know what kind of clothes he/she wants to wear so they are obviously choosing her style for her… I just don’t quite get it.

i was just about to say shiloh looks like a little boy…but i guess ya’ll got it covered! i guess being the spawn of two of the most beautiful people on earth she has to be humbled somewhat by a bad haircut..

  7. Jenny says:

I thought I read somewhere that she had a Peter Pan fixation going on right now so that’s why she insists on being called John (maybe explains the haircut as well- trying to act the part?)…either way, she’s three and completely adorable so it works out.

shiloh is gorgeous! i think its so cute she has short hair.. not all little girls need to be wearing pink and have ribbons in their hair. i heard about the peter fan obsession too, so adorable!

  9. Rebecca says:

The kid looks happy, that’s what is important! Besides, haven’t most kids given themselves haircuts? At least this one looks intentional.

This is no different from the two year olds in my class insisting on wearing dresses everyday, and their parents letting them-all through winter mind you, knowing we take them outside everyday unless it’s freezing. Some parents just buckle under their children’s desires, especially when seeing those desires come to fruition mean throwing a tantrum.

Shiloh seems pretty strong-willed and I don’t think there is any problem with them letting her go through a phase or whatever this may be as long as they remember they the parents and what they say goes no matter how many people think they are stifling her creativity or whatever it is these hippie parents like to say.
That being said, I think she looks fine. That haircut on an adult woman wouldn’t make anyone blink so why make a big deal out of the same sensible haircut on a toddler?

  11. Lilliah says:

I totally knew what clothes I wanted to wear at her age, and I’m sure most little girls do. I mean, yeah, I would mistake her for a boy if I didn’t know, but I highly doubt they’re *forcing* her to dress that way.

  12. babybunny says:

Seems me and my 3 sisters all had a short hair cut around this age. Though may be because we all wanted to cut our hair..or cut a pigtail off hehe.

  13. IMHO says:

With all of those kids, I don’t blame her for giving in to the ‘easy’ haircut. My neice wouldn’t let my sister-in-law brush or fix her hair, but wouldn’t let her cut it, so she always looked like she just got out of bed!

  14. IMHO says:

    Oops…niece…LOL!

@vicky- i have a two and a half year old little girl who ABSOLUTELY knows what she wants to wear every day.
i think it is wonderful of brad and angelina to respect their children’s wishes this way. it actually makes me kind of like them.

  16. I loved that photo of laughing Shiloh! She seems like a firecracker :D

  17. Ama says:

Every child is different, and even when they are just a year old they begin to show their personalty, their likes and their dislikes. Including clothing, so I have no doubt that Shiloh is picking out what she wants to wear. While they may seem young, each child has a certain style of clothing they are more comfortable in(or drawn to). I say if a girl wants to dress in boy clothes let them, and if a boy wants to dress in girl clothes. That’s fine too. It will let them know that it’s okay for them to be themselves and not be afraid to wear what they like or are more drawn to :)

  18. Penny says:

Jolie should not be using her kids as props in photos. Sure all these cute photos of Pitt and Jolie’s family is certainly taking the focus of their relationship. But is it really good for the kids. Shiloh appearance is being discussed instead. There shouldn’t be photos of Shiloh or any other celebrity children.. These kids should have the freedom to be kids.

  19. V says:

No offense but how did the kids even make any friends in Venice considering all the traveling they do with their parents? They never seem to stay in one place for more than weeks at a time. I think the kids really to grow up in a more stable environment soon otherwise I foresee big personality/esteem issues develop once they hit their teens…they really need to learn the meaning of true long-lasting friendships and relationships, especially since some of them are adopted and probably already have to deal with more emotional issues than Brad/Angie’s biological kids.

  20. k says:

It is a large family so they have each other for friends. I not only cut my hair at this age but my Skipper’s to match. These kids seem really happy.
