Hilary Duff, who was supposed to star in her own NBC TV series titled Barely Legal, will finally get to live out her office romance fantasies in a new ABC Family made for TV movie titled Beauty and the Briefcase. In Briefcase Duff will star as Lane Daniels a fashion journalist who is lookin’ for love. The movie will co-star actors Matt Dallas (Kyle XY) as the object of Lane‘s affections, Chris Carmack (The OC) as a music producer who wants Lane‘s affections and Michael McMilian (True Blood) as Lane‘s caring boss. This looks beyond cheesy but I bet it’ll be cute to watch. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen Hilary Duff in anything good (her stint on Gossip Girl does not count) so I’m hoping this movie will deliver. Any Duff fans out there? Does this look like something you’d be interested in seeing? Beauty and the Briefcase premieres on ABC Family on April 18.
Seriously, as soon as I saw Matt Dallas, I was sold. I’d probably watch him in just about anything :D

hilary has been doing a string of independent films. her latest one “Greta” was beyond amazing. it’s just that none of them have been broadcasted all over the place so no one would really notice all the things she has done. coming from a number one hilary fan this is to be expected from me. however, hopefully this movie will be able to get hilary new fans or have her old fans start loving her again. now I just need her to start making music again! haha :)

I’ve been praying to see Matt Dallas in something after Kyle XY was cancelled. He’s sooooo cute to watch. It’ll be interesting to see him in a “normal” role, as opposed to playing the slightly odd Kyle. :)
