On Tuesday we learned that AMAZING news that Betty White will be starring in a new TV series on TV Land called Hot In Cleveland and today we get our FIRST LOOK at a scene from the pilot episode! Here are a few screencaps and a short description of this fun-looking series premiere ep:
Betty White’s on a roll. After jumping in the shower with Hugh Jackman for a funny opening to The Tonight Show, the 88-year-old comedian – and future SNL host – has landed a regular spot on TV Land’s new series Hot in Cleveland. In this first clip, White cracks wise as the salty caretaker of a house rented by Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, and Wendie Malick. Nothing – not Nazis, marijuana nor prostitution – is off limits for White’s character. Watch the first clip now!

Awww … this show looks so cute! I am really looking forward to watching faithfully when Hot In Cleveland premieres on TV Land in June. Isn’t it awesome that at 88 Betty White‘s career is more thriving than 98% of other Hollywood actors and actresses? Yay, Betty!!

I hated the laugh track (if it was a laugh track) but I can’t wait to watch it. Betty White is adorable. And I like Valarie Bertinelli so I’m excited!
Betty White is sooo awesome it’s not even funny!!! Her character on this show is brilliant! I am hoping that I can get tix to see her host SNL in May…that would be amazing!
i adore betty white but this show does n.o.t look good. seriously. the laugh track has g.o.t to go. is that a good sign if the network is telling you when to laugh?

I think this new tv comedy show, ‘Hot In Cleveland’ for TV Land might be cancel after six weeks this summer. The cable don’t pick up the TV rating too well. The problem is TV Land was for old classic TV shows made for in the 1960′s and 1970′s like old reruns Gunsmoke, The Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, Leave It To Beaver, and The Andy Griffith Show, for example. Then TV Land has bring in these reality TV shows which they don’t have real professional actors. I don’t watch these reality shows. I switched to another channel.
I love betty white! And she’s clearly got some great material here, but the person who commented on the laugh track is right, it’s abit overkill!

Hot in Cleveland is a TV Land PRIME original production and is the network’s first venture into scripted comedy. The series will air in June on TV Land.
