Celebrates her new collabo by falling into a cactus
Lindsay Lohan Teams Up With Ed Hardy To Design A Line Of Fugly Purses

Lindsay Lohan, who was recently fired as creative director of the esteemed fashion house Emanuel Ungaro after she failed to produce a high fashion line that would sell, has reportedly teamed up with the tragic “fashion house” Ed Hardy (EEK!) to produce a line of handbags that will surely push the levels of tacky fugness to new heights … here are the deets of this new unholy union:

A source exclusively reveals to us that Linds is in talks with the L.A.-based clothing company to launch a new line of handbags. “Lindsay and the design team at Ed Hardy have mutual friends, and they knew she was interested in looking for a handbag license and partner,” our source says. “They thought she’d be a good fit and so did she.” So far, it sounds like the collaboration is running smoothly. “As of last week, there are three collections in development and numerous more are expected,” our source says. “Lindsay is very directly involved with the project, and she’s always pulling things online and from magazines for ideas.” This isn’t Lohan’s first involvement in the handbag business. In 2007, she was the celeb face of Jill Stuart handbags, and in 2004, she did the same for Dooney & Bourke … No word yet on when the Lohan-Ed Hardy collaboration will be released.

Ugh. It’s just all so … tragic. It’s beyond tragic … I’m not sure what more tragic than tragic can be called … but if there is such a word for this level of tragedy, it would be a great way to describe Lindsay Lohan teaming up with Ed Hardy. Ugh. To think, she previously worked with great brands like Jill Stuart, Dooney & Bourke and Emanuel Ungaro … and now she’s working with a “fashion” line that is popular among castmembers of MTV‘s Jersey Shore. To fall from such great heights …. ah, Lindsay.

What could possibly make this story even sadder? Well, how about photos of a sloppy-lookin’ Linds falling face-first into a cactus as she stumbled out of a house party here in SoCal this week? Check out those photos, after the jump …

Watch: ‘Glee’s Sue Sylvester, ‘Sneaky Gays’

To promote the return of the hit Fox TV series Glee, the network is releasing weekly installments of the fictional local TV opinion reports Sue’s Corner, as featured on the show, for our viewing pleasure. Fans of Glee know that the character Sue Sylvester, played by Jane Lynch, appears on the local TV news program spouting off her personal opinions on news of the day. Starting this week, we will get to see those segements of Sue’s Corner online. Here are screencaps from the first report titled Sneaky Gays:

This report gives a very good example of why we love the Sue Sylvester character so much. I’ve already watched this twice already … it’s really funny. Both Neil Patrick Harris and Adam Lambert get shout-outs … but you’ll have to watch to understand why their mention is so funny. Check it out in full, after the jump …

Conan O’Brien Reportedly Close To Signing A Deal With Fox

According to new reports circulating on the Internets today, funnyman Conan O’Brien is reportedly close to signing a new deal with Fox that would, presumably, have our dear Conan hosting his own late night TV show on the 4th network. Apparently, official news of the deal will be announced in May … but this report should be taken with a huge grain of salt since I’ve yet to find a major news outlet to give credence to the news. Even still, here are the deets as they are circulating:

Comedian Conan O’Brien will be joining the Fox TV network, some websites are reporting. BroadcastNewsroom.com said Tuesday the official announcement would come at Fox’s annual presentation to advertisers on May 17. The former host of NBC’s Tonight Show is currently traveling around North America on his one-man show, “The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour.”

I think pretty much everyone is expecting that if Conan is going to get another late night hosting gig, it will come from Fox so none of this should be a terrible surprise. My fear is that any late night talk show on Fox might be doomed for failure. The network doesn’t have a great track record with late night talk shows (which is why Fox usually airs reruns of their biggest hits during the late night hours) … it would be a shame for Conan to sign a new contract with a new network for a new talk show that might get canceled all too soon. In Conan‘s defense, tho, if there’s anyone who can make a show like this succeed on Fox, it’s Conan O’Brien. I guess if he wants the gig, Fox is his only option. If this turns out to be true, I’ll wish him all the luck in the world. He may need it.

‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Releases Its First Movie Poster

We are just about 3 months away from the release of the third film in The Twilight Saga movie franchise but today we are getting our first look at the first movie poster released from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse … check it out:

As far as Twilight movie posters go, this one seems pretty tame … but it’s clear the focus this time is squarely on our favorite threesome — Bella Swan and her two men, vampire Edward Cullen and werewolf Jacob Black. Considering the film is only month’s away from release, I’m surprised we haven’t been seeing more promo materials from this film but … at last, the new stuff is getting released. What do y’all think of this poster … do we like?
