SO … anytime we see photos of little Miss Harlow Winter Kate Richie-Madden, you can be sure that the cute factor is about to go up. Last Sunday we got our first look at the first leaked promo pics for the new line of Fashion sunglasses called MDG which were designed by Madonna and Dolce & Gabbana (just a few days after we learned Maddy is launching her own fashion line called MG Icon). Today we get our first look at the sunglasses themselves … check ‘em out:

After forming her own brand with Neil Cole’s Iconix Group and creating the Material Girl juniors collection for Macy’s, it’s clear that Madonna has a very bright future in fashion. Perhaps to shield her from any harmful UV Rays of Light, the designing diva is partnering with pals Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana for a collection of sunglasses to be sold bearing the logo MDG. “Designing an eyewear line with Madonna was a new experience for us. The oversized and wraparound designs are sexy and very feminine, like our clothes. Madonna’s creative contribution and unique point of view were key, even in designing the MDG logo,” Dolce and Gabbana remarked in a release. The six-pair collection, retailing for $250 to $290, will be produced and distributed by Luxottica, Dolce & Gabbana’s eyewear licensee. The glasses will be available at Dolce & Gabbana stores internationally, as well as Sunglass Hut and select opticians starting in May. Madonna and the designers have collaborated on several projects previously — including the costumes for her 1993 Girlie Show tour — and she currently appears in the design house’s spring ad campaign.

These glasses look great! Thus far, I’m impressed. I might have to get an oversized pair of shades for myself … you know, cuz it gets really sunny here in SoCal :) What do y’all think … do you like this new line of sunglasses?

Jesus Luz, Madonna‘s 23-year old toy boy du jour, sat down for a little interview with the website The Daily Beast to talk about his charmed life … paying careful attention to NOT talk at all about his much-older ladyfriend Madonna. Considering how little he shared with Interview magazine back in January, this interview is a BOON of information about what makes Jesus tick. Interested? Read on …

The 23-year-old Rio de Janeiro native was standing next to his girlfriend Madonna—at 51, more than twice his age—in the most exclusive VIP box at February’s Rio Carnival, cradling her adopted Malawian daughter Mercy James in his arms. Beside him was the state governor, the city’s mayor, and President Lula’s candidate to succeed him, Dilma Rousseff. Beneath him, photographers and adoring fans. Perhaps the bounce from nobody to celebrity had suddenly hit home. HMMM … while I have my serious doubts that Mr. Luz is “still the same person”, I can appreciate that he may be trying to stay as normal as possible … considering he is dating one of the most famous women in the world. Funny woman Tina Fey is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Esquire magazine. While Tina is lookin’ sexy as hell on the cover, she’s lookin’ very much the funny girl in her accompanying photospread. The best doughnut? That’s Peter Pan doughnuts in Brooklyn. It’s a Polish bakery. We shot nearby once for 30 Rock. It’s a white-cream-filled powdered doughnut. And I really believe, when I first tried it, if I had a penis, I would put it in this doughnut. I finally understand what you guys are thinking about and what motivates you guys.

My four-year-old daughter has a pretend hair-and-nail salon, and I was doing her hair and makeup. I said, “Hello ma’am. What’s your name? And what do you do?” And she said, “I get paid to dance at parties.” And I said, “Oh, no. That’s a terrible, terrible answer.”

She says she looks like Barack Obama. I think she heard so many people at that time saying I looked like Sarah Palin, I think she was just trying to get in on that. “I look like Barack Obama.” Okay. Sure.

Twitter seems like a busman’s holiday: just more writing. I have no plans to do it. I’ll just stick with my 24/7 webcam. I’m old-fashioned that way.

Time to check in with Aussie beauty Dannii Minogue to see how her baby bump is coming along. Earlier this week, Dannii made an appearance at auditions for Australia’s Got Talent and she showed off her beautifully burgeoning baby bump!! Behold:

A glowing Dannii Minogue showed off her burgeoning stomach in a quirky furry dress over the weekend. The X Factor star, who is five months pregnant with her first child, stepped out in a mini-dress by Australian label Willow as she arrived for Australia’s Got Talent auditions in her hometown of Melbourne. The 38-year-old star is currently in the middle of judging the fourth series of the show, a spin-off of the original British version. The new series will keep her busy until the final at the end of April, before she will have two months off to prepare for the birth of her baby in early July. Minogue, who has been on Australia’s Got Talent since the beginning, is the only judge to return this year … Since arriving in Australia a few weeks ago, Minogue has signed a deal for department store chain David Jones to sell her new collection. The mother-to-be enthused: ‘I am bursting with a lifetime of excitement for the launch of Project D in Australia. Fashion has been a passion of mine since I can remember and I hope that every woman who slips on a Project D dress will feel glamorous, yet effortless.’ Minogue’s pregnancy means she will miss the initial auditions of the new series of The X Factor, but she is hoping to return in time for the live shows in September.

Yay!! I’m happy to learn that Dannii has been keeping herself bizzy and that she plans to continue working here and there during her pregnancy. She looks absolutely stunning as an expectant mother. That baby bump sure looks good on her! I’m so happy for her!! I am really looking forward to following her pregnancy to fruition ;) She’s due this summer … mebbe she’ll give birth on July 12? I’ll be more than happy to share my birthday with Dannii‘s newborn baby :)

Today is the day that everyone is a bit Irish and I am reveling in it today. I’ve been wearing my fave green hat all day long and David and I were surprised by a cute little votive bowl full of Shamrocks which just arrived about an hour ago:

We’ve been invited to a couple of parties today … so we’re not quite sure what the plan is for tonight. I do know that there will be Jameson and Guinness in my very near future … wee!!

On Monday we learned that David Beckham successfully underwent ankle surgery on his injured Achilles tendon (after he injured it in gameplay the day before) and yesterday we learned that wifey Victoria Beckham made her way to Finland from LA to be with her hubby as he recuperated from his surgery. Today we get to see the first pics of poor Becks being released from the hospital in his foot cast as Les Beckhams made their way to the airport to leave Finland. It’s unknown where the couple were headed but it is presumed they will be making their way back home to LA (possibly with a stop-over in London) for his recovery period:

David Beckham is given a helping hand by wife Victoria as he struggles into a waiting car – two days after emergency surgery on his torn Achilles’ tendon. The couple flew out of Finland, where the procedure was performed on the former England captain, by private this afternoon. The plane carrying the couple took off in a light snow shower shortly after arriving from the clinic where Beckham had surgery on his left foot. The injury will keep him sidelined for about six months, meaning he will miss the World Cup in South Africa. The couple made no comments, and it wasn’t immediately clear where they were heading. Beckham’s doctor, who had earlier said they would likely travel to London and later to the United States, said Wednesday he ‘had no idea where they are flying to.’ Earlier, police pushed back dozens of shouting fans as the couple got into a silver Volkswagen van parked outside the clinic in southwestern Finland just before 2pm (1200 GMT). Escorted by two police cars, they were taken to the local airport.

It makes sense that Les Beckhams would make a stop in London, mebbe for a few days, so that Becks can rest a bit at the famed Beckingham Palace home they have there. Becks‘s family lives in London so a little lovin’ from mum might be part of his rehabilitation. Les Beckhams will be back in SoCal in no time, I’m sure. This sight of Becks on crutches and in this cast is one we’ll have to get used to. Becks will likely be hobbling around LA for many months to come as his ankle heals. Poor guy. Rest well, Becks! Perhaps a green beer on St. Patrick’s Day today will help numb the pain. Bless.

Last July we got our first look at Marky Mark Wahlberg and co-star Christian Bale on the set of their new film The Fighter. Back then, Marky looked all muscular and hawt … while Christian looked like a methed-out crack head. Today we get to see new photos of Wahlberg on the set of this new film … but all those hawt muscles are now gone, replaced by a whole lot of flab:

When Mark Wahlberg first leaped to fame in the Nineties, he quickly gained a legion of female fans thanks to his toned six-pack. But spotted filming his latest film The Fighter in Los Angeles yesterday, the 38-year-old was a far cry from his former toned self as he displayed a rounded paunch. Wahlberg is playing American welterweight boxer ‘Irish’ Micky Ward in his new film, who spent several years away from the ring before being convinced to return by his half-brother Dickie Ecklund. Given the actor’s out-of-shape appearance yesterday, it is clear he is filming scenes from Ward’s three-year hiatus from boxing. When Wahlberg started filming last year, he was looking buff after training for 18 months for the role. But after taking a few months off working out, Wahlberg’s toned stomach has turned podgy in preparation for scenes featuring Ward’s brief retirement. The Fighter, which is due for release this summer, has been a long-time coming for Wahlberg, who first signed on to star in the movie in 2007. He started training immediately, but was concerned after Darren Aronofsky withdrew from directing the role, before David O Russell signed on last April. Brad Pitt was due to play Ecklund, but dropped out and was replaced by Christian Bale. Ever the method actor, Bale was spotted looking emaciated on set of the film last summer to play Ecklund, who struggled with an addiction to crack cocaine and spent time in prison for various charges, including drug possession.

Yeesh … talk about your method acting. I have to say, tho, that this weight gain by Wahlberg isn’t nearly as serious as the emaciating weight loss that Bale endured for his role in this film. Marky may be a bit beefier but he doesn’t look all that bad … Christian Bale looked TERRIBLE in the photos we saw last Summer. I would hope this new film turns out to be a box office hit … it’d be a shame for these guys to put their bodies thru this must stress for a box office bomb.

Twilight hunk and Calvin Klein Underwear model Kellan Lutz celebrated his 25th birthday last week in grand style … according to Hollywood Life, Lutz was presented with a birthday cake that featured his CK Underwear-covered bulge … yummy!!

Talk about beef cake! Kellan Lutz looks simple EDIBLE on his birthday! The Twilight star celebrated turning 25 on March 15 with a private bash in Hollywood thrown by his lovely and generous pals – who surprised him with a cake mocking his new Calvin Klein ad. Hot! Earlier last week the hunky onscreen vampire – who’s dating 90210 starlet AnnaLynne McCord – did some pre-birthday celebrating with his Twilight Saga co-star Ashley Greene at STK in Los Angeles March 12 and celebrated pal Brittany Snow’s birthday at LA’s Crown Bar on March 13.

In all honesty, I am NOT a fan of cake (strange but true) but this is one cake I think I could happily sink my teeth into. Take note: I think this is the kind of birthday cake I’m gonna want for my birthday this Summer ;) Woot!
