While the main castmembers of MTV‘s Jersey Shore are flying around the country living high on the hog at various parties thrown in their honor, estranged castmate Angelina Jolie Pivarnick is confessing to Life & Style magazine that appearing on Jersey Shore has ruined her life. Since she was asked to leave the show in season 1 (after only the third ep), she claims that the other JS castmembers have been hating on her big time. Oh No!

From insulting text messages to threats of violence, Angelina Pivarnick tells Life & Style her Jersey Shore co-stars have made her miserable since she left the show after three episodes. “I got a text from Mike saying, ‘Be prepared to get your ass beat, you pale rat bitch. Nobody likes you in the house,’” she reveals. “Jenni has been telling people she wants to beat me up, and Snooki says she’s going to beat me up too. I don’t understand why they hate me.” Co-star DJ Pauly D snubbed Angelina another way after hooking up with her while in LA for the reunion show. “The next night we went to a club, and he wound up hooking up with someone else right in front of my face!” she says. It’s even more hurtful because she left the show for her boyfriend, who broke up with her three months later. Still, the Staten Island native says she’d return for season two, which will take place in Miami. “Without a doubt, 100 percent,” she says. “Now I’m single — and I want to party again!”

Angelina is a hot mess. From her trash bag luggage to her annoying big mouth, it’s no wonder the other castmates can’t stand her. I can understand how they might all be a bit resentful that she wants to get back in on their good time after she shat all over it the first time to the point where she was asked to leave the show. But, it makes total sense that MTV would want to bring her back for the express purpose of stirring up trouble. Meh. I’m over it. She sucked before, she’ll suck again if brought back … I say, cut her loose … let her disappear into obscurity for good and bring on board another self-proclaimed guidette to take her place. If Angelina really believes that Jersey Shore “ruined her life” then she should look to sunnier pastures. Considering the leechy person she seems to be, I’m not surprised she’d be willing to come crawling back for a chance to taste fame again. I guess we’ll have to see if Angelina will really come back for Jersey Shore season 2 or if she is merely desperately grasping at straws at one last ditch effort at being famous.

Hilary Duff, who was supposed to star in her own NBC TV series titled Barely Legal, will finally get to live out her office romance fantasies in a new ABC Family made for TV movie titled Beauty and the Briefcase. In Briefcase Duff will star as Lane Daniels a fashion journalist who is lookin’ for love. The movie will co-star actors Matt Dallas (Kyle XY) as the object of Lane‘s affections, Chris Carmack (The OC) as a music producer who wants Lane‘s affections and Michael McMilian (True Blood) as Lane‘s caring boss. Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston, rumored lovers and co-stars in the upcoming new film Bounty Hunter, are featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of W magazine. Here is our first look at their coverphoto and some deets about the accompanying coverstory:

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler have laughed off reports that they’re romantically involved, but the “Bounty Hunter” costars sure look cozy on the cover of W magazine’s April issue. Shot on a ranch about 45 minutes outside of Los Angeles in mid-January, the 13-page pictorial featuring Butler and Aniston, both 40, consists of seven photographs by celeb shutterbug Steven Klein. Ironically, Klein also shot W’s infamous July 2005 cover featuring Brad Pitt — who had then-recently separated from Aniston — playing house with Angelina Jolie. For the April cover, on which hunky Scottish actor Butler wraps his arms around Aniston, the actress tapped into her inner fashionista and wore an Alberta Ferretti silk chiffon dress, Carine Gilson Lingerie Couture’s silk bra and silk lace briefs, Stella McCartney garters and Lanvin shoes. Total retail value for her outfit? $3,800! As for the inside pictorial, it’s called “Speed Trap: Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler do a little role playing in the searing heat of the California desert where damsels aren’t always in distress and lawmen sometimes break the rules.” Hmmm … role playing?

Yeah, yeah … they’re just friends. Whatever. And you know … these pics are hot and all but their Bounty Hunter movie still looks terrible. To be honest, I have zero interest in seeing their film. But, I wouldn’t mind checking out one more photo from this W magazine photospread …

A few weeks ago we learned that plans are in the works for a sequel film to the cult movie classic Showgirls which would, supposedly pick up where the first movie left off. Just about a week later, we learned that another Showgirls sequel was in the works which would feature a totally different storyline than that of the previously announced sequel. Are these two movies one and the same? Or are there two different Showgirls sequels on the way? To clear up the matter, original Showgirls actress Rena Riffel (who played Penny Slot/Hope) has released a public statement addressing the two sequels and clarifies what her involvement is with one of the two films:

“Some media outlets have been reporting and posting about a SHOWGIRLS follow-up feature called SHOWGIRLS 2, which I am not affiliated with, in any way, shape or form. I’ll admit, I was contacted by the German SHOWGIRLS fan-turned-’Hollywood director’ to star in his first feature film. However, it was so horrifically graphic and out of the show’s original story theme that I needed to withdraw from those talks. I am officially working on my own SHOWGIRLS follow-up feature film. Recently, I posted a short sequel “teaser” on YouTube, which I wrote and directed myself. The teaser is very different than my feature film screenplay, but I wanted to get the ball rolling and have some fun because everyone seems to be so excited, including me! My film is titled SHOWGIRL, being that I am the last and only “showgirl” still keeping that flame alive. It’s sort of a…”What ever happened to Penny Hope?” – fifteen years later, story. SHOWGIRL is my take on what becomes of a thirty-something year-old stripper who is still obsessed with dancing and fame. We are planning on shooting this coming summer and are still searching for a few of our leading and supporting characters to round out the cast. SHOWGIRLS’ fans will be pleased to learn that some of the original cast members have agreed to be in SHOWGIRL, and some of my MULHULLAND DRIVE cast members will appear as well. It is my hope to work with my SHOWGIRLS friends Gina Gershon and Elizabeth Berkley again too. And, I am even thinking about giving my former STRIPTEASE co-star friend Demi Moore a call. You could say I’m pulling a “Barbra Streisand.” SHOWGIRL is my YENTL, because I will be writing, directing and starring! We are securing major funding and working with top production talent, like the original post production team who did the original SHOWGIRLS. It’s pretty exciting and amazing. Well that clears up things nicely. The plan for Showgirls 2 seems entirely shoddy while plans for Showgirl, starring Riffel, sounds deliciously and terribly fun!! If Riffel does manage to get Elizabeth Berkley and/or Gina Gershon to cameo it would be A HIT (with fans, that is)!!! I am really excited … even if the movie is a bomb, I’d expect no less from a sequel to one of the best box office bombs of all time. I’m SO on Team Rena! The Showgirl must go on! Congratulations are in order for actor and TV host Mario Lopez and his Broadway star ladyfriend Corutney Mazza who have announced that they are expecting a child together! Lopez, a long time playboy, is going to be a dad, y’all … and while I would bet very good money that this pregnancy was unplanned, I’m certain that he and Mazza will be great parents. I’m not sure what I’m basing that belief on, exactly, but there you go. Here are deets and the official statement from Lopez about this happy news:

There’s baby news at “Extra!” Host Mario Lopez is going to be a dad. Mario and girlfriend Courtney Mazza made the exciting announcement today. “Courtney and I couldn’t be more excited. I am looking forward to sharing this experience with my family and my family at Extra.” The two met in 2008 while working on Broadway in the show “A Chorus Line.”

Here are a few cute pics of Matthew and his adorable little hobo son chillin’ in Central Park yesterday afternoon:

Awww … even dressed as a hobo, Levi is still adorable! I understand that mama Camila Alves was bizzy at a Bravo TV media event so the duty to care for Levi fell to Matthew … from what I understand, the guys had a great time in the city together. They make a cute pair … I’d love to see more of these two out and about in NYC this week.

In the wake of countless other celebs who have decided to launch their own fashion lines, the Material Girl herself Madonna has decided that the time is right for her to jump on the bandwagon and launch a fashion line of her own. It appears, these days, that Madonna hasn’t met a trend that she doesn’t want to follow. As you may recall, Maddy previously ventured into the world of fashion when she teamed up with H&M to oversee the M by Madonna line for the clothier (see sketches below). This time around, tho, it appears she wants to be the HBIC. Here are the deets of Madonna‘s new fashion business venture:

From global pop sensation to high fashion model, is there anything Madonna can’t do? Apparently not. Joining forces with Iconix Brand Group, Inc. (the company behind such labels as Candie’s and Badgley Mischka), the Queen of Pop is set to take the fashion world by storm with the launch of her own style empire, called MG Icon. “Joining forces with Iconix to bring my fashion ideas to consumers is very exciting for me,” says Madonna in a press release. First up will be a junior collection, appropriately labeled Material Girl. Launching exclusively at Macy’s stores and Macys.com in August 2010, Material Girl will include apparel, footwear, handbags and jewelry — all retailing from $12-$40. The collection was inspired and designed by both Madonna and her daughter Lourdes along with the in-house fashion team at Iconix Brand Group. And come 2011, Madonna plans to add beauty and fragrance options to her juniors line, so stay tuned for more details on Madonna’s growing fashion brand.

I have to say, I miss the days when Madge was an innovator rather than a follower but … ah well. It makes perfect business sense for Madonna to launch her own fashion line … it’s bound to make money. I just wish this venture felt like something more substantial than just jumping on the bandwagon. Does the world really need another junior’s line of clothing? If Madonna were getting into the world of Fashion in order to shake things up and create something visionary, then I guess I could be more excited. This just sounds like another line of clothes that will look like every other brand of clothes, offering nothing new and exciting. Mebbe I’m wrong but I’m not really that hopeful that MG Icon will provide us with anything more substantial than celebrity fashion “designers” Avril Lavigne (for Kohl’s), Miley Cyrus (for Wal-Mart), etc. have already unreleased upon the world.
