After many weeks in hiding, disgraced golf star Tiger Woods came out of the hole he’s been living in yesterday to go for a friendly jog (with a female-looking [?] companion who is NOT his wife Elin Nordegren), showing his face in public for the first time since the Tiger Woods Cheating Scandal rocked the world. Altho it was reported that Tiger did surface on the grounds of a rehab center in Mississippi last month, this is the first confirmed outing for Woods in weeks. Tiger‘s public jog occurred just hours after his people released a statement announcing that he will be giving a press conference tomorrow to address the scandal he’s been embroiled in. It would appear that Tiger Woods is attempting to take back COMPLETE CONTROL of the situation that has gotten way out of hand. Tiger Woods is ready to come out of his shell, planning a talk this Friday, February 19 which will be opened only to “a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates”. Scheduled to begin 11 A.M. EST at TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., the golfer will apologize for unspecified past behavior and discuss his plans for the future.
“While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him. He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends, and that’s what he’s going to discuss.”
It’s not entirely clear what Tiger will say but I suspect some sort of public apology is on the way. Considering that NO QUESTIONS will be allowed, he’ll basically stand in front of cameras and deliver a carefully-worded speech that has been crafted for the occasion. I’m very curious to hear what he has to say, to hear what sins he’ll admit to but I doubt I’ll be very impressed. The event will take place tomorrow morning at 11AM ET, 8AM PT … stay tuned!

In all honesty I don’t care what he has to say. The fact of the matter is he cheating on his wife dozens of times with many different women. I don’t care he is famous as his pull has no affect on me. In my opinion he is a dog. Simple as that…no apology needed!
He does not owe me an apology. He should just go for his jog, and move on. This press confrence will just get everyone talking again. Let it go Tiger. No matter what you lost this one.

I don’t understand why these jerks need to call a conference to “apologize”… what’s done is done, right? it’s not like it’s a sincere apology… reminds me of that whole Chris Brown apology… they’re just doing it to sort of save face. i doubt that he’ll be saying anything in the conference about the scandal…it’ll probably more focus on the tournament that he’ll be joing in march.

I agree he lost on this one for sure…and the only person he needs to apologize to is his wife but if I were in her shoes I wouldn’t really care to hear it. He’s not sorry…he’s just sorry he got caught. And at the store last night I saw a magazine (sleezy tabloid) that said he cheated in Rehab too…so funny!
I believe he will most likely address his career objectives at this point of time, and perhaps all the scandals. so far he has stayed silent whilst a long line of women, pornstars and fame grabbers have comeout with a story after the next about him and while up till this point you have only their side of the story to go on it will be nice to see if he confirms some of them happened or not (probably a bit of both). Up until yesterday when watching tv and a pornstar said she was pregnant twice with his baby, but terminated because she wanted their relationship to stay the same..I have some inkling that half of the woman’s stories are bullshizz. either way we may FINALLY get some ending to this. Over it, who cares about it?

He is an athlete. If I want to watch some good golf, I watch him golf. I couldn’t care less about his personal life, couldn’t care less about his fake, public statements of mea culpa – don’t care what he has to say about anything, period. He doesn’t run a country, or a hospital, or anything of importance, what he says has no impact on anyone’s life. The man PLAYS GOLF, that’s all.
