We are mere weeks away from the theatrical release of The Runaways and today we get to see the first TV commercial for the film that will be hitting the airwaves this week … here are a few caps:

Yeah, this movie is deffo the Joan Jett/Cherie Curie Show but I still can’t wait to see it. It shant be long now!

As excited as I am to see this movie does anyone else think it’s a little funny that Dakota Fanning won’t legally be able to see it without her parents?
@Brenna – yes, that is ironic. she cant watch what she actually did. Was her parents present when they filmed (some of the parts)?
@ Brenna What’s it rated? Isn’t she 16?
Anyone else slightly weirded out that Dakota was 15 when she was running around in lingerie for this?
@ Kris She just turned 16 but you have to be at least 17 to go to a rated R movie by yourself…weird that she can be in it but “technically” cant see it…
@ Brittany Oh, thanks I thought that it was an MA15+ so I was like why can’t she go see it. And I didn’t know if the ratings were the same in the US as they are in Australia.
Looks like a lot of fun. Can’t wait to see it!
