Robert Pattinson is featured on the cover and in the pages of the 10 Anniversary Issue of Details magazine which is devoted to the “Remasculation of the American Man” … which is very interesting, considering the quotes R. Pattz gave about his non-affinity for vaginas. HMMM. While Pattinson‘s quotes are sure to garner some attention, I think it’s the accompanying photospread — complete with nekkid ladies — that will get all of the attention. Rob on the sexy Details photo shoot: “I really hate vaginas. I’m allergic to vaginas. But I can’t say I had no idea, because it was a 12-hour shoot , so you kind of get the picture that these women are going to stay naked after, like, five or six hours…Thank God I was hungover.”
On his dream job of political speech writing: “You’d have two or three minutes to affect someone. Make them hear you…I quite enjoyed doing the press for Twilight because there was a similarity. But you’d better have something to say. I felt a responsibility to be fascinating.”
On his emotional sight: “The only emotional connection of relevance is with my dog. My relationship with my dog, it’s ridiculous.”

he’s not doing anything, just laying around trying to appear exhausted or bored by these women. then again, he probably is bored considering he can get a girl to lay naked in his bathtub anytime he wants.
oh, and is it just me or is he lookin’ a bit like that scott guy who knocked up one of the kardashians in the white jacket picture? blech. :(
Thes pics are erotic as hell. I first thought he looked awkward but i think thats what is making it work. The cool indifference towards these sexually charged women who are desperate to get a ‘bite’ from. And if the reaction from the fans is anything to go by, its their fantasy come to life. For men, i’m guessing it will be the same as well in roundabout way – its a position, that i’m sure many would be in love in. It plays on the overused line, “guys want to be him, girls just want to f**k him” and Pattinson is indifferent to it all. I think thats what Details refer to when they he is redefining masculanity. He’s not your typical playboy that is lapping all this attention up. Love it.
Um, he is delicious. But I could have done without all those skinny robotic-looking women. Apparently he wasn’t into them either, so they felt the need to take their clothes off to get their attention. Didn’t work either ladies, he clearly was thinking of someone else (hmmm, his real-life Bella maybe?) during the shoot. But thank you, Details, for the beautiful pictures of him. Just crop out the rest next time, thank you.
HUH? At first I thought this was a joke making fun of John Mayer’s Playboy interview. He hates vaginas? I don’t get it. Why is that funny? Is he trying to say he’s gay? If so, why does he need to say he hates women’s naughty parts? He just got WAY too cocky for me.
He is hot, but the pics are of him sort of rejecting women who seem to be throwing themselves at him. If that is the point, ok, but the whole thing annoys me….
In the year 2010 it’s still hard to find mainstream magazine pages that feature men wearing less clothing than the women in the same ad.

The whole article is written incredibly well. And the vagina quote makes a lot more sense in the context of the article. I find the interview way more interesting than the photos, but it’s not like he’s bad to look at either. ;)

Love the pics. Read the interview and thought it was a good interview. Seriously though, it seems he all but came out…or did he? Or maybe he was joking. Or maybe he’s just not into people at all. Whatever the case, saying one doesn’t like vaginas kind of sends out a message.
The interview was undoubtedly beautifully written and portrays Robert Pattinson in a rather deep, intellectual manner. However, I honestly find myself thinking that the interviewer and writer of the article has so much control over the manner in which Pattinson was portrayed that what may have actually been an ordinary conversation was made out to be much deeper than Pattinson may even realize about himself. The author of the article definitely analyzed each word of the conversation well and his admiration is brought out clearly in his diction.
