I applaud Anne Hathaway’s (and her family’s) decision. It’s hard to go to a church and know that the money you tithe could possibly be going to support causes you don’t believe in. I have quite a few Catholic friends who feel this way. The Episcopal church is a great alternative. They truly welcome everyone.

I’ve been trapped in my stupid apartment for four days, just finished digging my stupid car out of the alley I park in and now we’re getting another foot tomorrow. I’m so over winter it’s ridiculous. I’m surprised no one is talking about the 2,000 person snowball fight they had in Dupont Circle. My roommate and I wanted to go so bad. Also Anne Hathaway rules.

Girl scout cookies are amazing but the little girls who push them get on my nerves. They seriously are taught by their parents to not take no for an answer. I can’t even go grocery shopping without being tempted to leave through the fire exit so I am not attacked by 6 little girls each looking at me like the devil when I tell them I don’t want to buy their cookies.
