Jennifer Aniston, who will be turning the big 4-1 tomorrow, spent last weekend in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with a few close friends … including rumored paramour Gerard Butler. On Monday we saw photos of the pair lounging together by the pool at their hotel and today we learn that the Aniston party has left Mexico, presumably for home. Interestingly enough, Jen and Gerard left their hotel together and boarded the same plane … together:
The holiday may be over for Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler but now the big question is whether fun under the sun will lead to true romance. The Friends actress – who turns 41 on Thursday – spent the weekend in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with the Scottish actor and close friends Courteney Cox and Sheryl Crow. But it was back to normality this week as the group left the exclusive Palmilla resort and returned home by private jet. Rumours that Aniston and Butler are enjoying a romance have been growing since they attended the Golden Globes together in January. Sources at the event even said they were seen kissing at the show’s after-party. According to U.S. reports, the couple were being so overt with their canoodling that event organisers were gossiping about it on their walkie-talkies. The pair first became close friends when filming forthcoming movie The Bounty Hunter together last summer.
Now, just because Jen and Gerard spent the weekend together in sunny/romantic Cabo together doesn’t mean that they are romantically involved. And just because Jen and Gerard left their holiday together doesn’t necessarily mean that they are romantically involved … but, you gotta admit, it sure does look that way. I think we’re all well aware that Jennifer Aniston does not have a great track record with pickin’ the right guys to get involved with … and considering that Gerard Butler was photographed making out with a random woman on the streets of Venice, CA just days before he jetted off with her to Mexico, I think it’s safe to say that her track record is still intact. Let’s hope, for her sake, that the couple are just friends.
Incidentally, David and I saw the trailer for Jen and Gerry‘s new film The Bounty Hunter when we went to see Dear John on Monday night and OMG, does that movie look TERRIBLE! I would sincerely hope that if rumors of this love affair between them are true that they are not building a relationship based on that horrible movie they made together. Doomed for failure. Poor Jen.

I love Jennifer Aniston. I think she should go back to television though. Her and Gerard seem more like friends with benefits. I doubt anything serious will come from it but you never know in Hollywood.
He is so gross looking! Ew. Anyways, the movie doesn’t look the best but it seems like it may have potential to be cute.

@ Chase & Manda– Personally, to me, he is insanely hot. I can’t really explain it, but I think it might just have something to do with the fact that he is really rough around the edges and well… just really, really manly-looking. But hey, to each their own! : )

Read a screening review of The Bounty Hunter that said the movie was funny. The reviewer said they weren’t really interested in the film at first because the trailer sucked so they were surprised they liked the film. They also noted that
the film has a great supporting cast including Christine Baranski & Jason Sudeikis.
I wonder if she stays in the same place and ticks off a list of men on some secret wall.
