On Friday we learned the happy news that popstar/actress Hilary Duff and hockey playin’ hunk Mike Comrie got themselves engaged (Hilary‘s publicist has officially confirmed the engagement). The blog at Bauer-Griffin, apparently, managed to catch the exact moment when Mike proposed to Hilary while they were on vacay in Hawaii last week:

LOLOLOL!!! Yes, I’m certain that Hilary was very happy and wanted to do whatever she could to show Mike just how happy she was … I would presume that she would want to make him happy, too ;) It’s not totally clear what is going on in these photos but I suppose it’s possible that nothing untoward is taking place, that Hil was looking for something in these photos … her keys perhaps, her phone? While it’s very likely the other thing that you think is going on is actually going on here, it’s a totally natural response between a happy couple lookin’ to get married. So, again, I say … congrats!

too freakin funny! Tho I have to agree, they were messing with the paps for sure. Hil is pretty good about evading the paps (except for when she wants to be seen, of course) and I think this was just a show and a ‘you’re kidding if you think you’d actually capture a ‘real’ moment like this from us’ statment, imho.
Clearly one of her chicklett veeners fell out when she saw that rock and she went to retrieve it!
