I should have added to the comment above – Of course I don’t believe that Dr. Murray intended to kill MJ. It was just that his neglect and total dereliction of duty resulted in his death.
Sure, MJ may have found another Dr. to give him the anaesthetic, but, it may have been an anesthesiologist who knew what he was doing and followed the proper protocals.

Propafol IV injection immediately renders the patient unconcious, therefore completely dependent on the person monitoring him. It is also known to have the side effect of respiratory arrest. That is why it is always given in a setting where the patient is constantly monitored. For a doctor to give this medication without the proper equipment, then leave the patient unmonitored, then not 911 immediately upon finding him in cardiac arrest is the worst kind of negligence and malpractice. He killed MJ. He did have complete control of his body at the time of death and neglected his duty.

Just because this guys a doctor doesn’t mean he had complete control of Michael and his body. If I go to a bar already drunk, have a few shots, get cut off, go to a liquor store and then drink some more and then die who is to blame? – The liquor store? the bartender? oh shit wait !! I’m an adult – maybe I’m to blame? Obviously I have no clue what really happened, but MJ was an adult?

I certainly don’t think he did it on purpose, but what he did was incredibly neglectful. You don’t give a person an anesthetic without proper monitoring. He gave him the drugs, and then left the room and made phone calls. In a hospital setting, a doctor (or nurse) would NEVER leave a patient with this drug in their system. So, yes, MJ would have found another doctor to give him the meds, that doesn’t relieve Dr. Murray of responsibility.

I agree with Trent’s opinion… I think if it wasn’t this doctor, it would have just been another doctor, in the same position.
I have never thought that this guy would purposely kill/murder Michael Jackson.

Although I think Dr. Murray did a wrong thing by administering the drugs to Michael, it was ultimately Michael Jackson who killed Michael Jackson. Yes, this man has some blame but ultimately this would have happened had it been him or not, Michael was an addict and its somewhat unfair to place all the blame on this man. Michael was a grown man who knew right from wrong and could have ended his addiction had he really wanted to and allowed others to help him, he didn’t so Michael as well as this man are responsible for his death.
