Last night I got dragged out of the house by my dear friends Darion and Jordan for a night of dinner and dancing. David was supposed to come with but he was feeling under the weather at the last minute and decided to opt out. Undaunted, Darion and I enjoyed a fun dinner at Rambutan Thai in Silverlake … we were met by Jordan and his good friend Adam for drinks afterward. I, somehow, got talked into having another drink at Akbar and well, that’s was my night:
It was really fun hanging with the guys but I wasn’t really in a mood for a big night out. Darion and I bailed by midnight and that was fine by me :)
It is a gloriously sunny day here in LA today so I’m gonna try to get out and enjoy it … tonight I’m seeing Brendan Benson at the Troubador in West Hollywood, CA. Ahh … happy Saturday :)
ah, jealous! both brendan and the troubadour have been two of my faves for over a decade. why did i move to the east coast again?
Enjoy your warm, sunny weather in California. We are bracing for another snow storm here in Michigan beginning Sunday night. I am so tired of winter.
