Last month we learned that Britney Spears had re-signed with Candie’s to be their celebrity spokemodel for another year and earlier this month we got our first look at the first promo photo that went on display at Kohl’s discount department store featuring the 2010 campaign (photographed by Annie Leibovitz). Today we get to see a few more photos, newly released, from the Candie’s Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign … featuring our dear Britney:
As you can see, this photo is the full-size version of the first photo released last month. I think it looks much better in this full-size incarnation, don’t you? We also learn today that Leibovitz is not the only photographer employed to shoot the new Candie’s campaign. Uh oh … can you see the pink wig featured in the top photo? I think every Britney watcher remembers that she liked to wear that pink wig when she was at her craziest … I’m not sure why Candie’s would want to associate their celebrity spokesmodel with that controversial time of her life. I like the rest of the photos … especially the Richardson photo. His photos tend to be more risqué in that American Apparel sort of way. I’m very curious to see what his other photos of Britney look like. This new batch of photos, tho, are a nice tease of what’s to come. I love these pics … what do y’all think?

She looks great in these pictures, but they must have photoshopped the crap out of them bc she doesn’t look anywhere close to that hot in any of the candid shots the paparazzi take.
I like how they used objects to obscure her chubby arms… and then photoshopped them to be perfect in the rest of the pics.
She needs some push-ups in her life. And I’m not talking about the orange ice-cream kind.

the first picture after the jump is pretty much the only one worth looking at. she doesnt look awkward..and it looks the least photoshopped (imo)

@PixiesBassline – CHUBBY? Her arms are chubby in real life?? Geezus..It’s crazy the standard people have for others nowadays..Her arms are muscular and, even still, more thin than the average woman..I guess unless you’re stick thin then you’re chubby? Craziness..

Fergie did Candie’s when she was 32 or something. Britney was 27 when she signed on and she’s now 28. Anyways, I think Kohl’s, in general, is gross and tacky but that’s just my opinion. I like the rest minus the very first picture.
I wanna see the non-photoshopped pictures like they did with the first Candie#s shoot lol!

@Kendra- Yeah, I said chubby. In comparison to the REST of her body, her arms look like they have some chub going on. I can’t see any tone in her arms, except for where they’re photoshopped to appear that way..
I didn’t say anything about her needing to be a twig. I think she did a good job on getting the rest of her bod in shape. Just not the arms. Why so offended?
