Lest you think that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are no longer in love, due to unfounded rumors about their “split” last month, Brangelina decided to show the world just how much in lurve they are by sharing a passionate and very public smooch on the Parisian set of Ange‘s new film The Tourist … behold:

It’s not unusual to see a couple sharing a passionate kiss on the streets of Paris – one of the most romantic cities in the world. But passers-by must have had a shock yesterday when they realised the embracing couple was none other than Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The pair were keen to show their relationship is stronger than ever as they puckered up on the set of Jolie’s new movie The Tourist in France. Jolie, wearing a chic cream dress for the scenes in the film, in which she stars alongside Johnny Depp, looked coy as she pulled away from the tender embrace, but couldn’t keep the smile off her famous lips. Pitt took on the role of house husband as Jolie shot the scenes in a Parisian cafe, and took care of some of the couple’s children, Shiloh, three and five-year-old Zahara, who were clearly keen to see their mother in action. These latest photographs are further evidence that there is no trouble in paradise for the Hollywood pair, following split rumours earlier this year over which they threatened legal action.

I guess it wasn’t enough for Brangelina to put their love on display at Super Bowl XLIV in Miami, FL earlier this month … now they have to flaunt it in the most romantic city in the world! Good for them!! I really love Brangelina together and I wish nothing but the greatest happiness for their little (well, big) family. Love them :)

So … the city of Madrid, Spain must really, really, really love footballer Cristiano Ronaldo because this week they decided to erect a giant silver statue of Ronaldo in the Plaza de Ramales (which was renamed Praça de Ronaldo for the day) in honor of their sports hero. To the best of my knowledge, I don’t believe that even David Beckham has the honor of having a city erect a statue of him … so this seems like quite an achievement for Mr. Ronaldo. Residents living near the Plaza de Ramales, a quiet square in a western residential area of the Spanish capital, woke yesterday morning to find the streets adorned with green and red confetti (the colours of the Portuguese flag) along with an imposing statue of Cristiano Ronaldo, commissioned by a sporting firm. As reported by Spanish sports daily Marca, the statue of the world’s most expensive player is 10 metres in height and silver in colour, featuring the player standing over a football. The Plaza de Ramales was renamed the ‘Praça de Ronaldo’ for the duration of the day. Ronaldo has only been at the Santiago Bernabeu since the summer, but has already become a hero in the Spanish capital. On Sunday against Villarreal, the Portuguese star put on a footballing recital, scoring from a blistering set piece to register Madrid’s first goal and contributing to four of the next five goals scored by los Blancos in a 6-2 victory. After scoring his goal, CR9 lifted his shirt to show a second shirt with ‘Madeira’ written on it in black marker, in a tribute to his home island which suffered from devastating floods over the weekend.

Oh man … I’m certain that laying claim to a ginormous silver statue erected in your honor will not do much to cool Ronaldo‘s 25 year old ego. Heaven help us all. So … you wanna see what the statue looks like? Check it out after the jump …

Lindsay Lohan posted a tweet message on her official Twitter profile that hints that she may be seriously considering a move to the UK … and considering how much fun she’s been having in London in the past week or so and considering how open she’s been with the British tabloid press about her past substance abuse and her past romantic relationship with Samantha Ronson, I’m apt to believe that she is serious about a move to London. If this actually turns out to be true and Lindsay does move to the UK permanently … well, firstly, I have to pass along my deepest apologies to our friends on the other side of the pond. Secondly, tho, I think it might be best for her to get as far away from her toxic parent, daddy Michael Lohan, so mebbe this move will be for the best. Now, Lindsay likes to talk … a lot … so we shouldn’t really take any of this very serious just yet but … well, she may be the UK’s problem very soon. What do you think, Brits? Great news for fans of Britney Spears who are dying for some new music from the once pop princess, now queen of pop … according to a new report from MTV, Brit‘s next album is really taking shape now that she is working with a new crop of amazing producers. AND GET THIS … we are hearing that Britney‘s new album might be out by the Summer (June, to be exact) … we can only hope. For all those Circus freaks out there, you’ll be stoked to hear that Britney is re-teaming with K. Briscoe, part of The Outsyders production team, who penned Spears’ comeback hit “Womanizer.” Plus, our pop princess is also hooking back up with Corte Ellis from Soul Diggaz, who previously worked with Britney on the songs “Naked” and “Get Back” off Blackout. Finally, color us flattered that Spears took our advice and decided to collaborate with our fave new French hitmaker DJ David Guetta on new tunes. Ooh, la la! Briscoe, Ellis and Guetta join a heap of producers who have already been tapped for the project—like Danja, Max Martin, Darkchild, Sean Garrett. Guess it’s just a matter of time until we hear whose tracks make the final album cut. Hope we don’t blackout from anticipation!

Dang!! Britney is bringing out all the heavy-hitters … I’m hoping this new album will be more of the Blackout variety rather than the Circus variety. Trust me, I love Circus but Blackout had a much cooler edge … if this new disc is an amalgam of both albums, I’ll just die. And HELLOOOOOO, are we really talking about a June release? Please sweet baby Jebus, this this news be true … I would LOVE a new album to drop in 4 months time :) Ok … be for real … who’s excited?
