Rihanna celebrated her 22nd birthday in style this past Saturday at a party thrown in her honor by her current boyfriend, LA Dodgers baseball player Matt Kemp. Kemp decided to grace Ri Ri with a lap dance at a club in Arizona … tho it wasn’t he that was performing for Rihanna. It was a stripper who goes by the professional name “Bridget the Midget“:

Rihanna celebrated her birthday on Saturday night with boyfriend Matt Kemp, a few close friends … and a little person who gives lap dances. It all went down in Arizona … during a weekend in which RiRi went barhopping in Scottsdale … The tiny dancer is “Bridget the Midget,” a porn star who also appeared on “Cathouse.”

Lindsay Lohan, who spent some time in the UK recently, gave a confessional interview to the British tabloid newspaper The Sun wherein she openly discussed her past drug use and proclaims her current sobriety. As best I can remember, this is the most open that L. Lo has been with a publication about her drug use ever … which makes for a fascinating read:

HOLLYWOOD wild child LINDSAY LOHAN today lays bare the extent of her drug addiction – and confesses she came close to killing herself through a heady mix of alcohol, cocaine and mind-bending drugs. And she tells of her “terror” at collapsing on her bathroom floor after taking sleeping pills. The bisexual actress, who has been to rehab three times and was jailed after being caught with cocaine, has always played down the extent of her drug abuse. But today the 23-year-old star of hit films such as Herbie Fully Loaded and Mean Girls sensationally reveals she hit rock bottom – and risked blowing her entire career. Speaking exclusively to The Sun she tells how her problems got worse when her father MICHAEL, a former drug addict and jailbird who beat up Lindsay’s mother DINA, started talking to the Press about his daughter in 2007. Lindsay, nicknamed Li-Lo, says: “When my father was going public, that’s when I hit rock bottom. I abused substances too much and it wasn’t the answer to my problems. People need to know that. I tried to mask my problems with alcohol, cocaine and mind-altering substances. Now I’m in a place where I don’t need to use anything and I can feel emotions because I choose to. I learnt from my mistakes and I’m now healthy and happier. I never want to be close to losing everything I worked for and aspired to have my whole life. Mind-altering substances are so dangerous. If I can teach others, especially teens, by sharing my experiences, then that’s what I will continue to do. I’ve made some dreadful mistakes but learned from them – that has probably saved my life.”

Wow … I mean, just because Lindsay is saying these things doesn’t necessarily mean she’s taken them to heart … but still, a public confessional like this does bode well for her supposed healthy new lifestyle. Last Friday we learned that happy news that popstar/actress Hilary Duff and hockey player Mike Comrie got themselves engaged to be wed while they vacationed in Hawaii (and over the weekend we saw just how thankful Hil D. was to get her fat ring) and today we get to see photos of Hila-rie making their way home from their holiday:

Hilary was well aware of the paparazzi presence at the airport as the couple tried to leave so she did her best to try and hide the big, fat diamond she was wearing on her finger … apparently, Hilary was feeling more shy at the airport than she was on the balcony of the couple’s hotel. She did manage to inadvertently flash her ring tho — check out the size of her new engagement rock after the jump …

Whoa!! People magazine is reporting that Ryan Phillippe and long-time girlfriend Abbie Cornish have broken up … due to infidelity! As you may recall, Ryan and ex-wife Reese Witherspoon split a few years ago because he fell in love and started fooling around with Abbie while the pair filmed their movie Stop-Loss together. Ryan and Abbie have been together since 2006 … but now, apparently, are no longer. Rabbie is dunzo, y’all!!

It’s over between actress Abbie Cornish and boyfriend Ryan Phillippe, her spokesperson confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. “Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home,” the rep tells PEOPLE. On Sunday, the actress was spotted removing her belongings from the house she shared with Phillippe while he visited a friend with children Ava and Deacon. The split follows months of tabloid speculation that Phillippe has been unfaithful to Cornish – regularly hitting the nightclubs and being linked to other women. When asked about the cause of the break-up and whether Phillippe cheated on Cornish, her rep replied, “No comment.” Cornish, 27, and Phillippe, 35, met in 2006 on the set of the film, Stop-Loss, and survived intense media scrutiny following Phillippe’s divorce from Reese Witherspoon. Cornish has been in Vancouver for the last seven months shooting the film, Sucker Punch. Reps for Phillippe could not be reached for comment.

Ugh … I can’t say that I’m surprised at all. As much as I love Ryan, Abbie had to know that if you take up with a dude who cheats on his wife to be with you then you run the risk of getting cheated on yourself somewhere down the line. I’m not necessarily of the mind that “once a cheater, always a cheater” but the chances are likely that cheaters can be repeat offenders … Phillippe here proves that fact. My first thought, since Reese is newly single again too, was that perhaps this is a chance for Witherppe to get back together again … but something tells me that prolly won’t happen. Ah well … Rabbie had a pretty good run. Clearly Ryan was lookin’ for greener pastures … mebbe one day, he’ll finally find them.
