Earlier this week we saw a bunch of behind the scenes promo pics and vids from the new Candie’s ad campaign Britney Spears: Through the Lens and today we get to see one more cute behind the scenes photo. Earlier this week we learned that Jared Leto, almost unthinkably, decided to shave off his gorgeous hair so that he could rock a new mohawk hair’do … today we get to see Leto, as frontman of his band 30 Seconds to Mars, rockin’ the ‘hawk on stage in Nottingham, England last night like the true rock star he is:

Ugh … it’s almost gross how perfect Jared Leto looks all the time. As I suggested previously, the man knows how to rock any look right … this mohawk works perfectly on him. Sure, I’d prolly advise against the red leather Janet Jackson gloves but, over all, he looks like a great rock star. I have to admit, I’m loving this look on him … aren’t you?

Last night I got dragged out of the house by my dear friends Darion and Jordan for a night of dinner and dancing. David was supposed to come with but he was feeling under the weather at the last minute and decided to opt out. Undaunted, Darion and I enjoyed a fun dinner at Rambutan Thai in Silverlake … we were met by Jordan and his good friend Adam for drinks afterward. I, somehow, got talked into having another drink at Akbar and well, that’s was my night:

It was really fun hanging with the guys but I wasn’t really in a mood for a big night out. Darion and I bailed by midnight and that was fine by me :)

It is a gloriously sunny day here in LA today so I’m gonna try to get out and enjoy it … tonight I’m seeing Brendan Benson at the Troubador in West Hollywood, CA. Ahh … happy Saturday :)

Back in December the folks at Disney announced that Captain EO, the classic 3D film that stars Michael Jackson and showed exclusively at Disney theme parks in the 80′s and 90′s, would be returning to the parks this month. I am THRILLED to pass along the news that Captain EO will begin showing again starting this Tuesday February 23:

Since we first announced the return of “Captain EO” on the Disney Parks Blog, there has been an incredible response from fans, and we’ve received many enthusiastic emails and phone calls asking exactly when the classic “Captain EO” attraction featuring Michael Jackson will reopen. Today, we are excited to give you an update on the Captain’s return! On Tuesday, February 23, as a tribute to the magic, music and messages of “Captain EO,” the 3-D musical adventure is returning to the Tomorrowland theater in which it debuted. While it’s not possible to replicate some special effects elements from the original presentation, it will boast a new 70mm print of the film, and it will sound better than ever thanks to acoustic enhancements made to the theater since the film last played there in 1997.

I understand there will be a special line set up for guests who only want to see Captain EO without visiting the park. Because I have an annual pass, I am planning to visit Disneyland on Tuesday to see the film AND play in the park :) Woot!! How many of you Southern Californians will meet me at Disney on Tues?

Last month we learned the shocking news that Dexter star Michael C. Hall is suffering from Hodgkin’s lymphoma but, in happier news, he was battling the illness very successfully. Shortly after that news broke, MCH was on hand to collect well-deserved acting awards from the 2010 Golden Globe Awards and the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards. When last we saw MCH out and about, he was doing a bit of grocery shopping with his Dexter co-star and real life wife Jennifer Carpenter a few weeks ago. Today we get to see new pics of Michael C. Hall, lookin’ spry and happy, as he made his way into the Chateau Marmont here in LA earlier this week:

It is FANTASTIC to see MCH lookin’ so well. I understand his cancer treatments have been going perfectly and he is on track for a full and healthy recovery. MCH is seriously one of my favorite TV actors of all time and I am absolutely thrilled to learn that he is doing so well. The next season of Dexter should begin filming soon … knowing MCH, he’ll be ready to get back into action in no time.

Last night the principal stars of the new movie version of Alice In Wonderland, directed by Tim Burton, surprised fans online and in person by appearing at a fan event sponsored by Disney and My Space at the Hollywood and Highland Complex in Hollywood, CA to preview the film and the film’s soundtrack. As you might imagine, Johnny Depp (who plays The Mad Hatter in Wonderland) garnered the biggest cheers from the crowd when he was brought out on stage:

The anticipation is building for the release of Tim Burton’s fantastical Alice in Wonderland and fans of the movie were treated to a sneak preview of the film AND a special surprise appearance from Johnny Depp Friday night in Hollywood. Looking dashing in his trademark tinted glasses and a scarf, Johnny Depp was greeted by deafening screams as he stood on stage at the Alice in Wonderland Fan Event at the Hollywood and Highland complex. Depp plays the Mad Hatter in the film and he was joined by director Tim Burton and fellow co-stars Helena Bonham Carter, Mia Wasikowska, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen, Matt Lucas and Anne Hathaway. Sponsored by MySpace, the event featured performances from four featured artists who performed their songs from the soundtrack “Almost Alice.” Rocking out to a packed audience, 3OH!3, Metro Station, Kerli and Never Shout Never ramped up the anticipation for the appearance of the film’s stars. The 3D fantasy adventure Alice in Wonderland hits theaters on March 5.

It has been about a month since Conan O’Brien signed off on the final episode of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien and since that time he has been pretty much M.I.A. It turns out that Conan has been gettin’ some much-needed rest and popped up this week in Hawaii … lookin’ homeless as all get out but also lookin’ rested and relaxed … oh and puttin’ the mack on a dolphin:

You would think that with the reported $32.5 million settlement from NBC that Conan O’Brien pocketed he would have the ladies flocking to him. But as RadarOnline.com can reveal the only action that the former Tonight Show host seems to be getting these days is from a dolphin! Conan was spotted on vacation in Hawaii with his wife and kids on Thursday and the red headed host made the most of the warm tropical waters by taking a dip with a dolphin. The dolphin seemed to take a liking to Conan sharing a smooch with the unemployed funny guy. Let’s hope Conan’s wife isn’t the jealous type!

Awww … this is such a cute picture … one that would be aided muchly if Conan had shaved one or twice in the past month but still, very cute. It’s good seeing Conan out in public … I hope he’s thinking carefully about his next career move. I don’t think there is any rush for him to jump the gun. It would seem that he is taking his time, nice and slow. Rest well, Conan!!
