Rihanna has made her way to the Land Down Under to do a bit of promo work for her latest album Rated R. Ri Ri arrived in Australia and was met by adoring fans and the immediately got to work promoting her album … which included posing for some pretty pictures in an office building hallway in Sydney:

The world’s sexiest singer Rihanna arrived in Sydney today to a warm welcome from adoring fans… one of whom presented her with a beautiful bouquet for Valentine’s Day, The Daily Telegraph reports. The pop princess arrived looking tired, but soon had her day brightened when she was welcomed with the flowers and a cute little toy koala. As she strolled through Sydney International Airport, the Umbrella star stopped to take pictures with fans. She’ll be in Australia through Valentine’s Day to promote her new album “Rated R”. Her trip to Sydney follows a visit to Seoul, South Korea where the Barbadian beauty held a few events to boost interest in the album. From Sydney she’ll be jetting home in time for her 22nd birthday on February 20.

Except for the fact that these photos were snapped in a hallway, I think Rihanna looks really fantastic. The black and white outfit matched with her streaked hair really works for me. She looks great!! I love these pics, do you?

Dannii Minogue, who has just been named as the new spokesmodel for Marks & Spencer, was spotted on the set of a new commercial for the company … with adorable baby bump in tow:

After twittering last week she was ‘so excited to be a Marks and Spencer girl’, it’s no surprise Dannii Minogue was all smiles on the set of her first campaign shoot for the high street giant. Looking calm and contented, the 38-year-old X Factor judge and former popstar strolled beside the water in Cape Town with fellow M&S new face Lisa Snowdon. The 39-year-old Capital Radio presenter appeared distracted while soon-to-be mum Minogue patted her bump and enjoyed the sunshine. Wearing a royal blue shift dress and red lipstick, the younger sister of chart-topper Kylie seemed to slipped into her new role with ease. This is just one of several high-profile projects the star has signed up for before giving birth to she and boyfriend Kris Smith’s child in July. Minogue has also reportedly signed a deal with ITV2 to film a £200,000 six-part reality television show and has designed a range of dresses with handbag designer Tabitha Somerset Webb. Joining Minogue and Snowdon as part of the retailer’s next campaign are singer VV Brown and Brazilian supermodel Ana Beatriz Barros. Veteran model and M&S girl Twiggy will be the only member of the line-up from past seasons to feature in the spring/summer advertising campaign.

It’s nice to see that Dannii is keepin’ bizzy and is planning to get as much work done as she can in the months leading up to the birth of her first child. I still so excited for her, I can’t wait until she pops. I’m hoping she gives birth on July 12 (which I think is a fabulous day to be born) so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for that ;)

Madonna‘s holiday in Brazil, with her two daughters in tow, continued this weekend as the ladies went out for a sight-seeing trip around Rio de Janeiro with Maddy‘s young toyboy Jesus Luz. While I’m still not convinced that the relationship between Madonna and Jesus is entirely romantic (drunken kissing in public does not a love affair make), I’m utterly convinced that Madge and Chuy will remain BFFs for some time. He makes a good manny and her kids seem to adore him (especially Mercy) so I suspect we’ll be seeing these two together for quite some time.

Our dear Britney Spears spent a lovely afternoon yesterday in the close company of her agent/beau/presumed Valentine Jason Trawick lookin’ about as couplely as a couple could look. After a nice lunch at Marmalade Cafe in Calabasas, CA, Britwick made their way to Target to do a bit of shopping … they were seen holding hands all the while:

I’m assuming this lunch/shopping trip was just a precursor to today’s Valentine’s Day celebrations. I’m not sure if we’ll be seeing Britwick out and about today, flaunting their VD, or if they’ll be keepin’ things on the downlow but I think it’s a safe bet that they’ll be together for the occasion in some fashion ;) Happy VD, Britwick!! It’s Valentine’s Day, y’all!! And while that may not mean much (if anything) so some of y’all, I still want to take this opportunity to send out VD lurve to each and every one of y’all today:

When I was a kid I used to LOVE Valentine’s Day because in school we would hand out cards to all of our friends … it was so much fun getting little cardboard cards like this from all my classmates. I wish I could send out these fun little cards to everyone but this post will have to suffice. Whether you like it or not, I hope your day today is filled with love … and hopefully chocolates :)
