Super Bowl XLIV is mere hours away but celebs of varying degrees of fame gathered together to participate in the 2010 Celebrity Beach Bowl sponsored by Direct TV in Miami, FL yesterday afternoon. Here are pics of Kellan Lutz, model Marissa Miller and Taylor Lautner in action during yesterday’s game:

DirecTV’s 4th annual Celebrity Beach Bowl was played Saturday, Feb. 6 in South Beach. Marisa Miller was named MVP. She only caught one pass, but for a skinny model playing against many former NFL players (and other big dudes, like Michael Clark Duncan and Kellan Lutz), Marisa Miller did pretty well. We’re sure Tom Arnold did not mind tackling her to the ground either. Other highlights included: Marlon Wayans hinted-at-didn’t-quite-confirm-strongly-suggested he is playing comedian Richard Pryor in an upcoming bio picture. It was quite the Taylor Lautner show. The crowd wouldn’t stop squealing for him and sportscaster Dan Patrick remarked, “I think if Taylor Lautner were out here by himself, that would be enough for this crowd.” When QB Warren Moon overthrew Taylor Lautner on a touchdown pass, Patrick also said, “Warren is judging werewolf speed and not Taylor speed.” At least Dan Patrick knows that Taylor is werewolf and not a vampire. We’re looking at you, Eli Manning.

Sounds like a fun game … and all these fun, pre-Super Bowl activities are a great distraction (especially that sweet backflip by Lautner) but the real action will take place in just a few short hours when the Indianapolis Colts take on the New Orleans Saints in the 44th Super Bowl. Unlike almost every other celeb on Earth, Jennifer Aniston is NOT in Miami, FL for the Super Bowl weekend … instead, she has made her way South of the Border to celebrate her 41st birthday (which is actually next Thursday February 11) with her rumored paramour Gerard Butler and couple of her BFFs. As you may recall, we last we saw Butler, he was mackin’ on a lovely female street performer here in SoCal while Jen was nowhere to be seen. I guess he is back to mackin’ on Jen these days. Here are a few pics and some deets from Jennifer Aniston‘s Mexican holiday with her crew:

Jennifer Aniston headed to one of her favorite getaway spots, Los Cabos, Mexico, where the actress is getting a jump start celebrating her 41st birthday – Aniston’s big day is actually Feb. 11 – with a group of friends. But this year, she had a surprise birthday guest: Gerard Butler, her costar in the upcoming comedy, The Bounty Hunter. Last month, the two were spotted laughing and spending a lot of time together at the Golden Globes. Aniston flew a large group of pals including Butler, Courteney Cox, her husband David Arquette and Sheryl Crow, whose birthday is also Feb. 11, to the One & Only Palmilla resort Thursday evening where the group is staying in a beautiful waterfront villa. Friday, there was one thing on the agenda: fun in the sun! Aniston showed off her famously fabulous figure in a bikini as the pals lounged on the patio.

Back with Gerry, eh Jen? I guess we know what she really wants for her birthday … she wants some hot man lurve :) It looks like Jen’s birthday holiday is a lot of fun … it was nice of her to bring along Sheryl Crow, especially since it has just been announced that Crow will be guest starring in future eps of Courteney Cox-Arquette‘s ABC show Cougar Town. I wonder if Jen will ever show up in Cougar Town? In any event, there is still a bit of time before Jen‘s birthday actually arrives … I hope she and her crew stay in Mexico to celebrate. I’d love to see more pics of them celebratin’ her birthday together.

Yesterday was a very long, very fun day. We continued celebrating David’s brother Aram’s birthday with a hockey game in downtown LA before we returned home to the surprise that the last Hauslaib sibling flew into town for the weekend. We had to distract David’s siblings Aram and Lara while Eden was sneaking her way to LA … but the surprise went off without a hitch and all the Hauslaib sibs were reunited for the weekend:

It was a hard secret to keep but we managed to make it work. After everyone was done screaming, we went shopping on Melrose. We popped into the adidas store …

… where we all got new shoes. I managed to find the coveted Darth Vader shoes from the adidas Originals Star Wars Collection. ‘Twas a nice afternoon, indeed :)

Aren’t these two just the cutest things ever? I LOVE it when Ryan Phillippe is in daddy mode. Sure he’s a hearttrob when he’s trying to raise money for the less fortunate, hell, he’s even hot when he’s doing nothing more than just walking the streets of SoCal. But when he’s with his kids, yeah … this is my fave side of Ryan Phillippe.

Yesterday afternoon, Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof took their sweet baby girl Satyana out for a stroll to enjoy the cooler SoCal temps lookin’ all bundled up and cute as ever … behold:

The adorable family made their way to the Brentwood Country Mart to do some shopping and a bit of meandering. As you may recall, when last we saw photos of Aly and Alexis, they were checkin’ out a new home that is for sale … no word on if the happy family is lookin’ to move but it’s clear that they are lovin’ the simple life. Little Sati is just the cutest little thing …she is just too cute for words. I love seeing these photos of my fave celeb family enjoying happy walks together … don’t you?

Brad Pitt and his eldest son, Maddox Chivan, have made their way from SoCal to Miami, FL this weekend to partake in the Super Bowl XLIV festivities going on there right now. While Daddy Braddy and Maddox will, very likely, not be hittin’ all the clubs and pre-parties, I’m pretty certain that they will be at the actual Super Bowl game to watch their beloved New Orleans Saints take on the Indianapolis Colts for American football supremacy. Here are photos of father and son being whisked thru the airport in Miami late last night:

It’s a very safe bet that Braddox will be cheering for the Saints in today’s match-up, considering how much Brad Pitt loves everything even remotely related to New Orleans. In fact, a great many fans are will be rooting for the Saints to pull out a Super Bowl win for the honor of New Orleans which is still dealing with the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. A big win today will go a long way in giving the people of New Orleans something to feel good about, even if it basically boils down to a single football game. I don’t personally have a stake in today’s game but I wouldn’t mind seeing New Orleans winning today and then celebrating for the next year or so as a result. In any event, may the best team win!
