On Wednesday we got our first look at Kellan Lutz as one of the new hunky spokesmodels for Calvin Klein Underwear, on Thursday we got to see a few HAWT behind the scenes photos of Mr. Lutz on the set of his CK Underwear shoot and yesterday we got to see behind the scenes video of Lutz which is just TOO HOT for words. Today we get to see new photos of Kellan Lutz, fully dressed very unfortunately, as he made his arrival in Miami, FL to partake of the Super Bowl XLIV activities … behold:

Kellan made an appearance at an event hosted by Venus Williams at the The W Hotel South Beach and he didn’t ONCE take off his pants to show off his underwear. Boo. I suppose we may have gotten a bit spoiled this week, what with all the meaty flesh he’s been showing off in all those promotional materials from Calvin Klein Underwear. I suppose we can’t get too upset that he’s running around town, fully dressed. After all, CK promised that we would see more from the campaign … with some of the photos being made available in 3D!! Yes, I am eagerly awaiting the release of those photos … so I guess I can overlook the lack of flesh in these photos. I mean … I guess.

Celebrities of varying stature and caliber have made their way to Miami, FL this weekend to partake of the Super Bowl XLIV activities (like the Rock ‘N Soul party at the Hard Rock DJed by Pete Wentz last night) which means that the city is teeming with famous folk. Yesterday afternoon, Rihanna — who played a Pepsi Smash concert in Miami on Thursday night — ran into La Diva Latina herself, Jenifer Lopez, by the pool at the Fontainebleau Hotel and sparked up a fast friendship:

Now I’m not sure what Ri Ri and J. Lo might have in common to talk about but I’m sure that two pop divas might have a few things to chat about. Mebbe Rihanna asked J. Lo what it was like to be a huge megastar and J. Lo seethed with jealousy over the loss of her glory days. The Fontainebleau isn’t a new hotel but it already has a reputation for attracting a very famous clientele, which means that famous folks like this are always running into one another. I wonder who else might be running into one another by the pool this weekend. HMMM.

Last night David, his sister Lara and I welcomed the arrival of their brother Aram who flew into LA for the weekend to celebrate his birthday yesterday. Upon arrival, we took him out for dinner at Antonio’s on Melrose before returning home to bust out a phat red velvet birthday cake for him:

This afternoon, we are all going to the Staples Center to see the Detroit Red Wings play the LA Kings in their second match-up in 3 weeks. As you may recall, David, my friends and I saw the Wings play the Kings at Joe Louis Arena back home in Detroit a few weeks ago and today they will go head-to-head again. Here’s hoping the Wings can pull off a win this time :)

Tonight, David, his siblings and I will be enjoying a fabulous birthday dinner for Aram and then … who knows where the night will lead. It may be rainy and dreary here in SoCal this weekend but we are having a blast!!

Yeah, I don’t think this was Cristiano‘s big birthday celebration, the event just happened to take place on his birthday. I suspect he enjoyed a proper celebration later on last night. In any event, this gives us the chance to wish Sr. Ronaldo a Happy 25th Birthday!! I’m not sure how many of y’all are Cristiano Ronaldo fans but I’m sure he’d appreciate all the Birthday Lurve you can spare for him today. Happy Birthday, Cris!

Last Friday we heard from RuPaul herself that her new book Workin’ It! was being released in stores this week and last night, Ru was on hand at the Borders in Columbus Circle in NYC, NY to sign copies of that new book for fans. Here are a few photos of RuPaul at the booksigning last night:

I love me some RuPaul and while I love Ru when she’s all prettied up with high wigs and fab clothes, I don’t really mind so much when Ru is out of drag. But I’m not sure I’m feeling this mustache that he has got going on in these photos. Mebbe it needs to be blonde? I’m not sure. But I digress … as I mentioned last week, I was lucky enough to secure a copy of Workin’ It! and I gotta tell you, if you are a RuPaul fan then you must get this book. The book lays out all of Ru‘s fabulous style secrets and explains the process of being the most fabulous drag queen of all. I’m not sure if RuPaul will be doing any other booksignings in the weeks to come but be on the lookout … he may come to YOUR town soon.

Yesterday morning we learned that actor Charlie Sheen‘s Mercedes Benz was stolen in the wee hours of the previous night and was mysteriously driven off a cliff and into a ravine in the Hollywood Hills. Thus far, there’s been no word on who could’ve stolen the car and then crashed the car, nor do we know if the crash was intentional or accidental … but we have learned that another luxury car was stolen from Sheen‘s neighborhood on the same night and it, too, was found abandoned (tho, not at the bottom of a ravine). HMMMM. I wonder who the culprit could be?

Troubled actor Charlie Sheen had left his Mercedes-Benz in his open garage with the keys in it when it was stolen and later found crashed in a ravine off Mulholland Drive, police said Friday. The 2009 Mercedes four-door sedan was found badly damaged about 350 feet down from Mulholland Drive about two miles from Sheen’s home in a gated community in Sherman Oaks. After an extensive search on foot and by helicopter, rescue crews did not find a driver or passengers in the vicinity of the stolen car. Los Angeles fire and police officials learned the car had been in an accident just after 4 a.m. when the Mercedes’ electronic security system automatically notified them. After locating the vehicle, they discovered it was Sheen’s and went to notify him. Meanwhile, Sheen had also received an alert from his car’s security system and reported a burglary to the police, who responded to the report about 5 a.m. Los Angeles police said the car was probably abandoned by the burglars, who had stolen items from other garages in the neighborhood. Nothing else from Sheen’s home was reported stolen, said Officer Bruce Borihanh of the Los Angeles Police Department. Another luxury car stolen from a nearby neighborhood was discovered off the side of the road about 200 yards from where Sheen’s car had been found, police spokesman Richard French said. The 2009 silver Bentley coupe was reported to police about 1:45 p.m. by a press photographer. French, who called the Bentley’s appearance “highly coincidental,” said it was unclear if the car was stolen by the same thieves. Sources said police ruled out any domestic dispute in the Sheen incident after interviewing the actor and his wife, who was out of state.

It sounds very likely that Sheen was just coincidentally targeted by thieves and it’s just really unfortunate that his very expensive car was found all smashed up at the bottom of a ravine. I’m still curious as to where Sheen‘s ex-wife Denise Richards was last night when all of this car thievery was going on. I’m not saying she’s guilty or even a serious suspect in this caper but … well, I doubt she would be very sad to learn that one of Charlie‘s toys was destroyed in this manner. HMMM. While police are still stymied as to who the car theft is, I think I’ve got it all figured out ;)

Dr. Conrad Murray, the late Michael Jackson‘s personal physician who was attending him at the time of his death and is about to be arrested and charged for the murder of MJ, paid a visit to the Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park, MJ‘s tomb in particular, Wednesday afternoon. Murray was photographed spending some alone time in front of MJ‘s mausoleum tomb just days before the authorities plan to arrest and charge him with murder … could he be lookin’ for a bit of absolution before the media circus of his murder trial gets underway?

With charges in the death of Michael Jackson looming over his head, Dr. Conrad Murray sought out peace in an unlikely location — Jackson’s final resting place. Murray showed up at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Wednesday afternoon to visit the tomb of the man he may or may not have accidentally killed. Murray was seen outside the mausoleum, but not inside.

HMMM. I’m convinced that Dr. Murray honestly believes that he did not murder Michael Jackson and, whatever his crime(s) may turn out to be, he very likely did NOT intend for Jackson to lose his life. That’s not to say that he isn’t guilty and may not be punished for his actions … it just means the weight of his actions as they relate to MJ‘s death are prolly weighing on him very heavily right about now. It will be up to the courts to decide if he is guilty of MJ‘s death … but I am, personally, of the mind that while he prolly did have a hand in his death, he is not a murderer. This case is so complicated, I’m sure of it. Michael Jackson lived a life where he got exactly what he wanted, when he wanted. If he wanted to use Propofol to go to sleep he was going to find a doctor that was going to give it to him. I honestly believe that if it wasn’t Dr. Murray who did as MJ demanded then it would’ve been another doctor in Murray‘s place right now. It was prolly quite a boon to be selected as Michael Jackson‘s personal physician … but, as it turns out, things don’t always work out the way we plan. Dr. Murray will get his day in court … but I don’t blame the man for sweating bullets and lookin’ for a bit of absolution before his trial gets underway.
