Twilight star Taylor Lautner took a break from his frantic life to enjoy the Los Angeles Lakers home game at the Staples Center here in LA last night and from the looks of the following photos, he had himself a great time:

I’m sure Taylor was in a celebratin’ mood cuz his LA Lakers eked out a win against the Charlotte Bobcats with a final score of 99 to 97. A couple of Lautner things to keep in mind … first, he was at the game last night all by his lonesome … and second, he turns 18 in just 7 days.

Earlier this week we learned the terribly sad rumor that Madonna and her much younger toyboy Jesus Luz are dunzo and today we get to see a few photos of Jesus in his native homeland lookin’ very much like the newly single man he is rumored to be … behold:

It’s only been a few days since Jesus Luz called off his May-December romance with Madonna. While the superstar singer, 51, is keeping a low profile, it appears the 23-year-old model is relishing his newfound freedom in his homeland Brazil. The handsome DJ was spotted showing off his impressive physique as he paraded up and down Ipanema beach in Rio De Janeiro yesterday. Luz was spotted lounging about on the sand chatting to his friends, including a mystery female companion. As temperatures soared to 34C, Luz headed for the beach shower to cool down, to the joy of admiring female fans. The model has spent the past two weeks in Brazil, while mother-of-four Madonna has been spotted in New York and London. Apparently, Luz prompted the end of the couple’s one year romance after realising they had nothing in common. Friends of the pair were amazed their relationship lasted so long due to their 28 year age gap. A source told the Chicago Sun-Times: ‘It was not only totally amicable, but it was Luz who initiated the split.’ Another insider told the Daily Mirror: ‘They are in different places in their lives. It’s the age-gap, he’s 23 and she is 51. ‘How long could it last? How it even lasted a year seems a miracle to a lot of people. They had nothing to talk about. It’s pretty much over now.’ The couple were last seen together in New York in the first week of January, but both have been kept apart in recent weeks due to their work commitments on different continents.

I’m not sure that I entirely believe that Madonna & Child are really dunzo but I wouldn’t be surprised if this rumored break-up ends up being true. The test will come in just about a week … Madonna is scheduled to make her way to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil so that she can attend the Rio Samba Parade during Carnival on February 14. I understand that Maddy will join the city’s governor, Sergio Cabral, as his special guest to watch from a private box in the Sambadrome. If Madonna goes to Brazil and does not hook up with Jesus then I think we can be sure they are really, truly dunzo. Time will tell. We know Madge likes the young, Latino flesh … could she really be willing to let this go? Or, is she just over Luz‘s shortcomings?

Last month we learned that Brintey Spears has re-signed with Candie’s to appear in their ad campaign for a second year in a row and it was announced that legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz would be among the photographers photographing the campaign. Today we get our first look at the first promo ad poster that has been released from the Candie’s Britney Spears: Through the Lens campaign featuring our dear Britney Spears:

HMMMM. To be honest, this is a nice photo and all but it doesn’t strike me as having the same caliber that we have come to expect from Leibovitz photographs. If we weren’t told that Annie Leibovitz was the photographer, I wouldn’t have guessed or even wanted to believe that it was true. This photo is cute but nowhere near as extraordinary as one might expect from Annie Leibovitz. I’m curious to see what the rest of the campaign looks like. If we can expect more of this to come, then I’d rather Candie’s go back to using the photographer who came up with the pink hay motif from last year’s ad campaign instead. What do y’all think of this photo? Impressed?

Kellan‘s behind-the-scenes photos are in full color and, IMHO, that makes all the difference. There’s even a shot of a person, with the BEST job in the world, spraying down his body to make it look all shiny and slick. Lawd. I’m telling you, you wanna see these photos. Also, there are a couple behind the scenes photos from Fernando Verdasco on the set of his CK photoshoot as well. Check out all the insane hotness after the jump …
