Yesterday we saw photos of Britney Spears, agent/beau Jason Trawick and mini-entourage making their way thru LAX Airport here in LA bound for destination unknown. Today we learn that Britwick made their way to Miami, FL together … possibly for both work and personal reasons. Here are pics of the couple as they made their arrival at Miami International Airport late last night:

I understand that Britney may be in Miami this weekend to do some work on her new album but I have no doubt that she and Jason will find some time to relax together, possibly by the pool … probably someplace more intimate. Here’s hoping they have themselves a fantastic weekend of successful work and happy pleasure.

Trainwreck du jour Tila Tequila, who claims that she is pregs with her first child, stepped out to do a bit of shopping here in LA yesterday with her “baby” in tow. A blonde-wigged Tila showed up at Kitson boutique to peruse the baby clothes that were on display … making sure to pose for pictures at every opportunity:

I guess when she’s not tweeting her autobiography, she’s playing dress up in boutiques around town. I think it’s safe to assume that when a trainwrecky personality decides to wear a wig in public, things may not be on the mental up and up. I’m still not entirely convinced that she’s actually lost her mind … I still contend that she is doing all of this wacky, attention-seeking bullshizz merely for the headlines. I also do not believe that she is actually pregs. This plastic baby might be the closest thing to a child that Tila Tequila may ever claim ownership of … and for that, I am extremely grateful.

Yesterday we saw David Beckham on the cover and in the pages of 10 magazine (men) and today we get to see wifey Victoria Beckham on the matching cover of 10 magazine (women). In her coverstory interview, VB talks about dress sizes … and how she and Jennifer Lopez supposedly wear the same size — or some such nonsense:

Victoria Beckham has claimed she’s the same dress size as curvy star Jennifer Lopez. The former Spice Girl is often criticised for her skinny body but in new shots for 10 Magazine she looks unusually curvy. And speaking about her fashion range VB said: “My dresses are for women of all different shapes and sizes. “Actually, the one I tried on yesterday was the one Jennifer wore. And who’d have thought I’d be the same size as Jennifer Lopez!” And after rumours that she is now focused on TV work Posh says she plans to stay in fashion. She told 10: “I still plan to be doing this in 10, 15, 20 years time, so it’s got to be done right.” David Beckham also appears in the same edition of the magazine.

Hurray!! 10, 15, 20 more years of robotic mayhem! Well, if she plans on doing this for the next 20 or so years, I guess she should be commended for working towards longevity. Earlier this month we learned that Matthew McConaughey and babymama Camila Alves welcomed the birth of their second child, a girl they named Vida Alves, and today Matthew is giving us our FIRST LOOK at their darling little girl:

Last night was a pretty bizzy night here in our humble abode. The 4th season of Skins premiered last night on E4 in the UK and I was able to watch the premiere ep online here at home. Thanks to a Pink reader on Twitter (thanks @lilithisdead), I was pointed to a site that broadcasts new eps of Skins on the same day they air in the UK:

Without spoiling anything for those of you who have yet to watch the first ep of Skins 4, I’ll say that things got started off with a bang … which appears will resonate for the rest of the season. At the very least, it will still be at the forefront of the drama in next week’s ep. This post is for a particular segment of my readership who, like me, remember an amazing singer from the mid-90s named POE who released two effing fantastic albums (Hello [1995] and Haunted [2000]) but has been silent for the past 10 years. Without going into the long, drawn out explanation of her hiatus, I’ll just say that due to legal restrictions placed on her by an ironclad legal contract, POE was unable to create or perform music for the past decade (well, officially … POE has done a few things here and there in that time but not in any significant or profitable way). But, at long last, POE has been freed from her legal restraints and she is ready to make her long overdue return to the music scene. In fact, POE performed at a benefit concert here in LA last night … with her old band, just like the good ol’ days:

Remember Poe? The erudite singer-songwriter burst on the scene in the late-’90s, scoring a massive hit with the single ‘Angry Johnny,’ the catchy track with the refrain, “I wanna kill you/I wanna blow you … away.” She followed that up a few years later with the critically-acclaimed album, ‘Haunted,’ a superb concept record about her relationship with her late father. With two albums, a hit single and strong reviews, Poe seemed to be on her way. And then, poof — she seemilngly disappeared. So what happened? “What I would say, in a nutshell, is very short and sweet: Myself as an artist was purchased as if a slave by a Texas oilman,” she tells Spinner, adding her first contract was bought out by this businessman. “I have not gone a day without doing music. I’ve just done it anonymously. It’s not like I haven’t been playing — I’ve played parties and this and that — but anything that was way under the radar. I lived like an illegal immigrant for 10 years. I couldn’t make any money, couldn’t do anything.” Nearly a decade later, after a legal battle to match any music industry horror story, she is finally ready to re-emerge. “I feel as though I have been in a grave, not dead, but I’ve been spitting dirt out of my mouth for 10 years. I would say a month ago I saw the first ray of sunlight,” she says. What was that sunlight? “Honestly, the key element [is] out of complete accident I played with my old band again. I’d been in the studio writing and recording and it was like that missing piece of ‘I got my bros back, I remember what this feels like and I’m alive again’” … “It feels good to be playing again. The fact I can shortly be doing this with new material is pretty damn exciting,” she says … “I’m not gonna give a firm deadline, but within the next month or so we’ll create a release date for something new.” On top of that, she promises to explain in much greater detail where she’s been for the last decade. “I could give you 10 years of facts and figures, but my job as an artist is to show you the footprints that were left on my soul,” she says. “And that I can show you in music, so the best recount of really what transpired is ultimately in these songs.”

Damn! At last!! I have been a huge fan of POE since day one … no lie, the only time I ever performed on stage with a band in an arena full of fans was with POE in Tulsa, OK back in 1996. My friend Mike and I met her when she toured in the Oklahoma area (when I was in college) and we became fast friends. She asked us to perform on stage with her during her song Trigger Happy Jack (essentially, we ran around the stage with megaphones screaming our heads off) and then we lept into the crowd and crowd surfed away — it was a blast :) POE then released her album Haunted which was a soundtrack of sorts to her brother Mark Z. Danielewski‘s amazing book House of Leaves (which remains one of my fave books of all time) and then … she was gone. My friend Tony (who is an exboyfriend of mine that I met because of our mutual love of POE) attended her live performance here in LA last night and he sends along some photos from her gig. Nicole Richie, fashion/jewelry designer and mother of two extraordinaire, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of British Marie Claire magazine. In her coverstory interview, Nicole opens up about the allegations that she previously suffered from an eating disorder … allegations she calls “insulting and irritating”. These sizzling pictures of Nicole Richie give little clue to the weight issues which have plague her recent years. With a tiny Size Zero frame giving her a severe case of ‘lollipop head’ syndrome, fans had become concerned for her health, insisting she had become too thin. But Nicole, who is at her curviest best after having two children with boyfriend Joel Madden, has come forward to reassure fans she has always been healthy. The 28-year-old also took the opportunity to blast critics who had accused her of suffering from an eating disorder. She said: ‘I felt it was a little unfair to say someone has an eating disorder when they don’t. It’s extremely insulting and irresponsible. ‘An eating disorder is serious and it’s a disease.’ The reality television star, who is the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, dropped to Size Zero before falling pregnant with her first child. At her skinniest, she was pictured on a beach in 2006 and became the reluctant poster girl for Hollywood’s obsession with weight loss. But since daughter Harlow’s arrival nearly two years ago, she has looked altogether healthier. Her second child, son, Sparrow, was born four months ago and Mother Nature’s impact has been even more dramatic. Nicole previously revealed she is naturally skinny, and sometimes finds it difficult to put on weight. The full interview with Nicole appears in the March issue of Marie Claire magazine She said: ‘I think when you see me in person, you see that I’m, like, five foot one – I’m a small person. When I was heavier, everyone said I was too heavy. You can’t win in the public eye and I find it really hard. So I ignore it now, I really do. The only time it bothered me was when I was in a store trying on shoes and these girls came up to me – they were probably like 13 or 14 – and their mother came over, and she said, “Are you taking care of yourself, because my girls think that you’re not.” That was upsetting.’ Nicole is currently preparing to kickstart her acting career as the star of a new TV sitcom … Nicole will return to the small screen for a half-hour show, which she pitched to bosses at U.S. channel ABC earlier this year. She will also produce the series, in which she stars as a working woman juggling her family and love life.

Irregardless of what Nicole used to look like (and let’s be honest, she was really thin), she looks fantastic these days … motherhood really seems to agree with her. She’s never looked better, never looked happier and I couldn’t be more thrilled at her success at life. I really admire the way she has matured, she is truly a woman that young girls can look up to. Romeo James appears to be following in his father David Beckham‘s love of tattoos footsteps. As we all know, Becks is very fond of gettin’ new tattoos … it would seen that his middle son Romeo likes getting new tattoos, too:

With both their father and mother covered in tattoos, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the three Beckham boys followed suit. But at just seven years old, Romeo might have been expected to wait a while longer. David and Victoria’s middle son proudly showed off his new marking on an after-school trip to buy frozen yoghurt with his mother and maternal grandparents yesterday. Of course the indistinct design indicates that the tattoo is a temporary version, easily removed with soap and water and a lot of scrubbing. But his appreciation of tattoos – even the fake kind – might be a bit of a worry, and will surely see him follow in his father’s heavily tattooed footsteps. Footballer David has already admitted that his sons are keen to be inked. ‘One of them said to me recently: “How old do I have to be before I get a my first tattoo.”,’ he revealed. ‘I was like “A lot older than you are now.”‘ David himself has 20 separate pieces of body art, and is said to be keen to completely cover his arms in tattoo ‘sleeves’. The football ace – who is currently on load to AC Milan – was said to have been inspired by Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller’s character, fugitive Michael Scofield.

I have no doubt that Becks‘s sons idolize him, as most sons do of their fathers, so to think that they would love to follow his example seems completely natural. I fully expect at least one of his sons to try their hand at professional soccer and one or more of them to get tattooed at their first opportunity. These little guys are growing up so fast … it won’t be long until we are hearing reports of real tattoos for the Beckham boys.
