Omer Bhatti Legally Changes His Name
Omer Jamal becomes Omer Michael

Pink reader Astrid gave me the head’s up that a new Norwegian article was published today that reports that rumored Michael Jackson lovechild Omer Jamal Bhatti has legally changed his name in honor of the late King of Pop. According to the untranslated article HERE, which I cannot read or translate, Astrid informs me that the boy’s new legal name is Omer Michael Bhatti:


As you may recall, Papa Joe Jackson confirmed last Summer that Omer is, in fact, Michael Jackson‘s first born child. Now, everyone knows that Joe Jackson is not a bastion of truth by any stretch of the imagination but considering how much Omer has been included in family functions relating to MJ‘s other children since his death, I am pretty convinced that he is one of MJ‘s children. Now that Omer has legally changed his name to Omer Michael, it would seem at least to me that he is staking a public claim on his birthright.

    I see MJ too: in every face of a child, in every flower that grows, in the wind that blows across a body of water. ok for real, Omer DOES have some Michael features in him. I know they could still do a DNA test but he can be shielded like the other kids are from the press when the results come out. but it’s probably better we don’t truly know to protect everyone.

    I really don’t think this is likely. IMO, he doesn’t look like Michael, and anyway just looking like a person doesn’t mean that they are your father. This just seems like Joe Jackson leaching onto yet another talented person. He will exploit him, and make money from him. You don’t need to be related to be taken advantage of.

    There is a definite resemblance there. In the eyes maybe? I know that they said that the timeline doesn’t fit, but I dunno….he looks too much like MJ to discard the theory.

    Maybe he didn’t change his last name to Jackson because he’s PROUD of Bhatti. I’m sure he loves the parents that raised him and wants to keep their name. I think changing his middle name to “Michael” is a very tasteful way to take claim over his alleged lineage. I dunno.. Just my opinion.

    Omar said himself he isn’t Michael’s kid, look it up. I don’t see any resemblance to MJ, unless you can inherit plastic surgery. What does it matter? All the Jacksons are blood related to MJ, yet most of them are still talentless, money-grubbing assholes. Blood doesn’t matter, it’s what you do & say as an individual that determines whether you will be remembered as a good person or otherwise.

    My heart tells me he is MJ’s son, I see him in him, good he took his name but still kept the last name from where he was born, Oslo and LA will both be happy. I am wandering what dianne diamond will say, since she is the MJ expert.

    This doesnt make sense nor does it prove Omer is MJ’s son. Stop being stupid people, if he wanted to pronounce himself as MJ’s son he could have changed his LAST NAME instead. Changing his last name to Jackson would be more of a way to say he is MJ’s son.

    But why does he need to change his name period? If he is michaels son. Why didn michael just name him after himself like he did his three other kids? THINK PEOPLE! Its because he’s not MJ’s.

    And just because he is around MJ’s kids and the family doesnt mean he’s michaels. It just means he was/is close to the family! So what? Unless you have a DNA test that says MJs the father then this is BOGUS! Use your brains people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    omer never said he wasn’t MJ’s son. a tabloid said a friend told them that omer said this…it’s a bunc of bull. personally i don’t think omer is michael biological chil cause i don’t see a reason for michael to have hidden him but imer was def like a son to michael. he seems like a nice guy.

    3/1/10 Michael Jackson had many kids calling him dad, and they all seemed to have dark hair and look a certain way, but anyway its a community center not to far away from me and everything Monday these pakitan kids play basket ball and you wouldn’t believe how they seemed to favour Michael its something about their eyes even some of the girls they have a certain look about them, if Omer was Michael son believe me he would have been part of the Grammy Award Program
