Mariah Carey, among others, attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival award ceremony in Palm Springs, CA last night to collect an award. Mimi was honored with the Breakthrough Actress award for her work in the film Precious: Based on the novel Push by Sapphire and, as a result, was called up onto the stage to accept her trophy. It turns out, tho, that Mariah was DRUNK as hell as she stumbled onto the stage to accept … I’m not even kidding. Here are a few screencaps from her acceptance speech along with an excerpt of what she managed to say slur while on stage in front of the amassed audience:

“Please forgive me because I’m a little bit…” and then she paused for a while, long enough for someone in the audience to yell out, “Drunk!” to which she replied, “Yeah.”
