Beyoncé Releases A Commercial For ‘Beyoncé Heat’
See what she smells like

Last month we learned that Beyoncé is finally, at long last, releasing her very own celebrity fragrance called Beyoncé Heat and today we get to check out the first commercial released for the perfume:

Beyoncé Knowles already has sexy down, but the singer is really heating things up in her first commercial for her debut signature scent, Beyoncé Heat — and we’re bringing you a first look. And talk about too-hot-to-handle! Set to a soundtrack of the chanteuse singing “Fever”, the ad kicks off with a shot of the singer stripped down and soaking in a bathtub. Soon you’ll be able to do more than just see the ads. Beyoncé Heat, which mixes top notes of red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli and blush peach, will start burning up store shelves this week, with prices ranging from $39-$59.

HMMMM … it’s not really that inventive to promote a fragrance called Heat by singing the (IMHO, way overused) song Fever in a TV commercial but, well, I guess Beyoncé isn’t going for subtlety here. After the jump, check out the commercial for Beyoncé Heat and judge for yourselves …

It is a sexy video … she looks fantastic … love the hot legs. I’ve never really cared for the song Fever so I guess that bothers me but overall, meh, it’s not a bad commercial. What do y’all think? Does it work for you?

I can’t stand Beyonce. Nowadays these so call “artists” trires to come off as “multi-talented”.

99% of the time, it’s someone else’s talent they get credit for.

Tired of hearing about their lies on how they wrote a song, or produce their shit.

These are folks who makes money off their stupid fans.

Yeah, like suddenly they are designers, perfume makers, architect, multilingual(remember Beyonce pretending to speak French) etc…

Furthermore, tired of women always having to sell sex for every damn thing. It gets boring after awhile, Too much nonsense.

are you serious? if you can’t stand Beyonce then you surely can’t stand any other female singer these days.
she’s the only female artist today that you can actually respect; she doesn’t swear, she doesn’t smoke, and she promotes a positive image for all females. plus her music’s great.
she’s extremely good looking, and has an amazing body- she’s allowed to flaunt it a little! and even though you think this ad is too ‘sex’ filled, it’s absolutely nothing compared to anything Gaga, Rihanna, or Katy Perry sends out.

  2. I love Beyonce but this sex sells strategy is just too much! Well, B’s sang the song fever b4, but it’s definitely the wrong song choice, because it lead me to think the fragrance is called FEVER lol.

  3. @astrogirl – it was Spanish not French….

  4. @Chase – so basically you’re hating on Beyonce for trying to give 110% at every job she does? Wow try telling that to a real person with a regular job….

    Here I Go Again,

I was speaking of the Oscar, where she sings the title song for a French movie.

I mean couldn’t they have chosen a French singer for crying out loud.

didn’t beyonce have another perfume out a long time ago? it was called true star or something like that….and i’m sorry but most of the fragrances out by celebrities have smelled really bad….only a small percentage actually smell good….and i agree this advertisement is way too oversexed for a perfume

Gotta weigh in on this one…though my opinion isn’t different than the majority here. Fever, like Trent said is way over used and it’s dated. If she were as talented as she thinks, then she could have come up with a new, ultra sexy song if one from her repertoire doesn’t turn up the heat enough. Could have been a double debut. I already know what the fragrance smells like. Cloying. Heavy. Oily. Cheap.

  8. Manda says:

It actually wasn’t that bad until that last line. And I agree with the above that it seems as though the fragrance should be called Fever?? I dunno, I guess to me anything is better than that awful Body Heat commercial that MTV runs over and over again lol

@Here I Go Again – No, no, and no. That’s not what I meant. I am basically highlighting the fact that Beyonce TRIES REALLY HARD to things that don’t come naturally to her and it comes off as sometimes desperate. People shouldn’t try so hard. She obviously wanted to be multi-talented and it often comes off backfiring. It’s cool to give something your 110% but to try so hard all the time must be exhausting.

    @Astrogirl
I totally agree with you… especially on her singing the title song from ”Les choristes” at the Academy Awards!!! I’m french canadian, and I remember watching it with a friend and we were both wondering if she was actually singing in french… That was totally awful!!! They couldve taken a singer that actually spoke french (I think they took her caus her grandma who’s from louisiana spoke french or something), there are so many of them… or at least take Celine Dion for christ sakes!

  11. LaTigresse says:

Btw, she shouldve said ”Catch the heat” instead of ”Catch the fever”… the name of the perfume wouldve been less confusing I think!

  12. Astrogirl says:

La Tigresse: There you go, that’s the performance I was thinking about.

Vanessa Paradis was in the audience, and the first thing that came to mind was, gee why wasn’t Vanessa ask to do this?

I think Beyonce’s dad/management really push for her to be seen as “oh so talented”. That’s what’s irks me.

The majority of the so call “Divas” today who are popular, there main talent is really in showing off their bodies. The songs don’t even have substance, so who cares if you wrote it, and furthermore when they win the award you find out that there’s at least 10 people in the song credit which they’ve claim to have written themselves.

So if you wrote that song and there are all these folks involves, which line did you really write besides “oooooo, yeah, yeah, yeah, baby,baby,baby..” Seriously.

  13. oh THAT French song I thought you were referring to irrplecable in Spanish.
