Alan Tudyk, one of the stars of the soon-to-be defunct series Dollhouse, is at the Sundance Film Festival doing promo for his new film Tucker & Dale vs. Evil and he was stopped by the LA Times for a brief interview wherein he discusses his thoughts on the early cancellation of Dollhouse. While at Sundance, covered ably on our sister blog 24 Frames, I ran across a movie called “Tucker & Dale vs. Evil,” co-starring none other than Wash himself, Alpha himself, actor Alan Tudyk. He was gracious enough to stay, after a midnight showing, and talk to me about the movie — then awesome enough to give me his quick impression on what happened to “Dollhouse” and where he thought the show could’ve gone. I know, why do we keep punishing ourselves with this ‘coulda’ stuff? Because we care.
I seriously love Alan Tudyk, he was superb in Dollhouse. You have to hear his final thoughts on the show that will air its series finale episode this coming Friday night. Check out this video interview after the jump …
Alas … what could’ve been. Because of the Hope for Haiti Now telethon that aired last Friday, the finale ep of Dollhouse got pushed to this week. Make sure you tune in so that we can send the show off with all our lurve.

I loved him in that Sandra Bullock movie about getting sober. He is a great actor and Hot!
Love him in EVERYTHING! He is/was in V, which comes back in March.
So tired of hearing about this Dollhouse show… it didn’t work.. move on!
He is a fantastic actor and very, very funny. He was hilarious in Dodgeball (a guilty pleasure) and stole the show in “Death at a Funeral”. If you haven’t seen this movie, put it on your rental list immediately. You won’t be sorry!
Lark3 – So right. His bum alone was worth the price of admission for Death at a Funeral.
Mr. Gyllenhaal – 28 Days was great because of him. That accent! “Oh my God! Look at my package!”
Aww love love LOVE Alan Tudyk, even with his difficult to spell name. I thought he was great in A Knight’s Tale as well. Managed to bring the quirkiness quite nicely.
