'Cougar' crossing
Courteney Cox-Arquette Rides A Hot Rod Around ‘Cougar Town’

While ABC has decided to cancel Ugly Betty, they are still in full support of new show Cougar Town which continues to film new episodes this week here in SoCal. Last month we saw photos of star Courteney Cox-Arquette filming scenes with co-star Christa Miller and today we get to see new pics from the set of CT. In these pics, Courteney is lookin’ fly on a motorcycle with, what looks to be, co-star Brian Van Holt:

LOL. I know I’m such a geek but I LOVE Cougar Town ;) The show never ceases to make me laugh and David and I make it a point to watch the show together every week. I keep telling David that he will prolly grow up to look like Jules‘s ex-hubby Bobby (Van Holt, pictured here with Cox-Arquette on the motorcycle) mostly in looks rather than behavior (tho, I could see David living on a boat in a drive way some day). I’m glad to see that new eps of this show continue to be filmed ;)

JWoww & Ronnie take MTV's offer, the others hold out for more
MTV Re-Signs Two ‘Jersey Shore’ Castmembers For Season 2

First we learned that the cast of Jersey Shore were banding together Friends style to try and force MTV to pay them more money per episode to return for season 2 of their show and then we learned that MTV decided that they were not interested in the cast’s salary demands and are willing to pay them each $10,000 per episode and not a penny more. Today we learn that two members of the Jersey Shore cast, Jenni Jwoww Farley and Ronnie Magro, have decided to take MTV‘s offer and will return for season 2 … the rest of the cast are still holding out for more money:

Two of the cast members of “Jersey Shore” have agreed to MTV’s offer of $10,000 an episode, but the others are still holding out … sources connected to the negotiations tell TMZ. Ronnie and J-WOWW have accepted MTV’s offer. A well-placed MTV source tells TMZ the network is drawing a hard line at the close of business tomorrow — the rest of the cast members must either accept the offer or MTV replaces them. Earlier in the week we told you MTV’s original deadline was Monday night — but the network continued negotiations and now they say it’s do or die.

I had a feeling that these jokers wouldn’t band together as a single unit when push came to shove. I suspect that now that Jwoww and Ronnie have caved to MTV‘s final offer other castmembers will take the deal as well. In the end, they have no choice. If they refuse, they will be cast aside and forgotten … just like original castmember Angelina Jolie Pivarnick. Her dumb ass walked off the show after 2 eps and is prolly kicking herself for being so stupid. I bet she’d return for season 2 for free if MTV will have her. Altho I think other castmembers will take the deal I wouldn’t at all be surprised if at least one of these egotistical morons turned down the deal in the hopes of getting more money from someone else. It remains to be seen what Jersey Shore: Season 2 will look like cast-wise but it sounds like MTV is finished playing around. We should know very soon who is in … and who may be out.

LeEddie do 'Poker Face'
LeAnn Rimes & Eddie Cibrian Enjoy A Karaoke Date

LeAnn Rimes and her extramarital lover Eddie Cibrian made a surprise appearance together at a bar called Tail Feathers in Henderson, CO this week to enjoy a night of karaoke (after the pair originally stopped to use the bathroom). Apparently LeAnn sang (natch) while Eddie clapped along in unison after :

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian turned an emergency bathroom break into a karaoke party last Saturday — and we’re told they didn’t leave until Rimes paid homage to Lady Gaga. The owners of Tail Feathers bar in Henderson, CO tell TMZ the country singer originally popped in to hit the head, but the bar was so much fun that she and her boyfriend decided to stick around for cocktails. Before hitting the road, Rimes entertained the crowd by hopping up on stage and belting out Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” — as Eddie bopped along in the front row.

OY! Well, these two appear to be going strong … even after they each split from their respective spouses, it seems like they are really making a go of their relationship. Some friends and I saw LeEddie together and very smoochy at Universal Studios last October and I understand the pair have been traveling together to fun places like this ever since. After the jump, check out video of LeAnn‘s performance of Poker Face at Tail Feathers this week — in case you are interested/curious …

Calls the NBC late night fiasco a "huge mess"
Jay Leno Does ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’

Jay Leno taped an interview with Oprah Winfrey for The Oprah Winfrey Show this week, scheduled to air today (check your local listings), and in just released quotes from the interview, Leno opens up about his side of the story concerning the late night TV shake-up that is going on at NBC right now. As you may recall, Conan O’Brien hosted his last episode of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien last week and, after the 2010 Winter Olympics are finished, Leno will be returning to his old gig as host of The Tonight Show. Here is a promo pic from Oprah‘s interview with Jay Leno and some pull quotes from their chat:

Jay Leno tells Oprah Winfrey that he hasn’t spoken to Conan O’Brien throughout the recent contentious negotiations over “The Tonight Show.” In quotes provided Wednesday by Harpo Productions, Leno tells Winfrey that “it didn’t seem appropriate” to speak to O’Brien. But Leno says the two comedians might talk when “things cool down.” NBC unseated O’Brien and moved Leno back to the program he had hosted for 17 years. Leno is scheduled to return to “Tonight” on March 1. In a video previewing “The Oprah Winfrey Show” interview, Leno says: “This whole thing was a huge mess.” Leno’s interview is slated to air Thursday. Harpo Productions made an offer for O’Brien to appear on her show, but it hasn’t been confirmed.

I know that Jay Leno has looked like the villain in all of this mess but I don’t personally hold him responsible as the bad guy. Let’s be honest here, NBC is the one at fault for all the mess. I’m glad that Jay will be in Oprah‘s “hot seat” and will able to give his side of the story. After the jump, check out a video promo for his appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show today …
