Earlier this month we got our first look at Julie Benz in her new role as a “stripper with a heart of gold” on ABC‘s Desperate Housewives and today we get to see a few more photos of Julie on DH. As you can see, Julie must wear a shimmery top so that the audience can be clued in to her profession even tho she is wearing clothing:

She’s so pretty … I just love her. In the earlier promo images, Benz was paired up with Terri Hatcher‘s DH character. These new promo photos pair her up with another Desperate Housewife. Sexy Scottish actor Gerard Butler made himself a new friend in Venice, CA over the weekend as he was chillin’ with some friends Saturday evening. After putzing around town, he stopped to listen to a lovely violin player serenade him with her melodies in front of her Venician home. In return, Gerry decided to make-out with the violinist for her troubles:

He’s a smoooooth operator, that Gerard Butler. Sure, he’s lookin’ a far cry from his chiseled 300 days but still, would you turn down a smooch from Gerard Butler if he came to your house? Yeah, didn’t think so … not even Jennifer Aniston can evade his charms.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the new male spokesmodel for Emporio Armani, surfaced in Madrid, Spain tooling around in a flashy new Ferrari this week to meet up with a friend for lunch … behold:

It would appear that Mr. Ronaldo is putting all of that money he got from Armani to good use. You know what they say about dudes with big, garish sports cars … they’ve prolly got big, garish personalities, too ;) Shoot, this kid is still in his 20′s, he’s a major international sports star and he’s got money coming out of his eyeballs … I can’t really hate on him for spending his money (un)wisely. As far as I know, he stays out of trouble (for the most part) and has a pretty good head on his shoulders. Live it up, Cristiano!

Yesterday we got wind of the latest rumor that suggests that George Lucas may be seriously considering redoing all of the Star Wars films, Episodes I – VI, in 3D and today we learn more possible 3D movies. It is being reported that a new sequel film to the 80′s hit movie Gremlins will be made and released in, you guessed it, 3D:

Could a third Gremlins movie finally be in the works? Website Market Saw is reporting that not only is a third film in development, but it’s being planned in 3-D. I’m not exactly sure how you even come to this conclusion when a script isn’t even being worked on, or maybe it’s just safe to assume any movie in development could arrive in 3-D? Hopefully something official will be announced soon; I pray this isn’t a Warner Bros. Premiere title (their straight-to-disc distribution label). Joe Dante had recently talked Gremlins 3 with BD back in April where he confirmed he would not direct assuming it ever happened.

HMMM … with so little information, especially from Warner Bros., I’d hold off on celebrating just yet. But considering that the notion of 3D is so popular right now that you might think it’s 1985, I would not be at all surprised if this Gremlins 3D movie is actually a go.

As you may recall, I recently got to see the original Gremlins on the big screen for the first time in about 20-some years. The movie still holds up, I’d love to see a new film (with puppets, NOT CGI) be created … in 3D!!
