Back in October we got our first look at the first promo pic released from the upcoming big screen adaptation of the 80′s TV series The A-Team and just a week ago today, we got our first look at the first promo trailer for the film. Today, we get to see a whole batch of NEW promo pics from the new version of The A-Team:

The fans have already had their appetite whetted with the release of the first trailer this week. But at only 90-seconds long, their thirst for the new A Team movie was soon going to have to be satisfied even more. Today, new stills from the eagerly-awaited movie version of the popular Eighties show were released by 20th Century Fox showing even more action shots. The A Team themselves – Faceman, Murdock, B.A Baracus and Hannibal – are seen running away from a huge explosion in one shot, while in another, Bradley Cooper, who plays Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck and Liam Neeson, who stars as John ‘Hannibal’ Smith, catch their breath afterwards. Neeson’s Hannibal, played by the late George Peppard, who died aged 65 in 1994, in the TV series, is then seen lighting up his trademark cigar. Another scene shows Hannibal looking over some plans with B.A Baracus, played by UFC star Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, taking on the role made famous by Mr T. Jessica Biel, who plays Lieutenant Carissa Sosa, a government agent who’s pursuing the A-Team is also seen in one shot looking cool and sexy in aviator shades. She also becomes Faceman’s love interest, who is seen in another scene sunning himself in the desert as the team take a break from saving the world. The film is due to be released this July but have already faced opposition from die-hard fans of the cult TV series, which ran from 1983 to 1987, who are not happy with the ‘Hollywoodisation’ of it.

I mean, c’mon, the film will either be loved or hated by the fans. I don’t know that there is a huge number of diehard A-Team fans out there, so producers really only have to worry about getting enough hype around the film to get people to see it in theaters. I’m still not 100% convinced the film will be a hit but until we get to see the film for ourselves, we’ll have to all reserve judgment. Back in July of 2008 we learned that Jude Law was named the celebrity spokesmodel for Dior Homme Sport cologne, today we learn that Jude is still the face of Dior‘s smell as a couple new promo ads get released to the Internets. Here is the first new photo:

Jude‘s got a nice, stern look about him … he makes the perfect spokesmodel for things like this. Guys want to be him, ladies wanna love him … which means big sales of the products he endorses. It’s amazing how much money celebs make for product endorsements like this. All they have to do is pose for photos and Voila! they start getting fat checks in the mail. Brills. Jessica Biel, who reportedly broke up with long-time boyfriend Justin Timberlake and will be appearing in the upcoming big screen adaptation of The A-Team, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Vogue magazine. In her coverstory interview, Biel talks to Vogue about the controversial way she left the show 7th Heaven, talks about her life as an actress and much more. Here is Jessica‘s Vogue coverphoto and some excerpts from her coverstory interview:

On posing nearly naked for Gear magazine at seventeen, which freed Biel from her contract after the fourth season of 7th Heaven:
“I really wanted to go to college, and it all kind of happened at the same time. I did this photo shoot; the photo shoot came out; it was terribly embarrassing. I had to apologize to everybody, including my parents. It was a big learning experience: learning how to have boundaries and how to say no.”

On her va-va-voom image and being at odds with it:
“When I see myself in pictures with makeup on, even to this day, I think it looks weird. My eyes get squintier and smaller. On the red carpet, I’m playing a character. As soon as I get off that thing I think, Oof, wipe that gloss off. I’m wiping and wiping and pulling my hair out and trying to change my outfit. I’m immediately trying to get comfortable. It’s really a part I play.”

On wanting to diversify herself as an actress:
“The last year in this business has been harsh. There’s no material. Nobody wants to make dramas. And that’s what we all want to do.” What is getting produced, she says, are “commercial movies—horror movies, big romantic comedies, and action movies. Those can be great, but you don’t want to do only those kinds of films. You can’t live on éclairs alone. You have to have a spinach salad every now and again.”

Jennifer Garner, friend and costar of Valentine’s Day, says of Biel’s act ing skills: “She’s incredibly girly and warm and open—all of the things she seems to buck against when she’s looking at roles. The first scene that I did with her, she was drunk in the scene. It’s hard to play drunk, not to overdo it. But she did it in such a subtle, real, kind of pathetic but very, very deeply funny way. I was, take one, totally impressed.”

To be honest, I never really think of Jessica Biel‘s acting prowess. She’s the kind of actress who shows up in stuff and then, I hate to say it, you totally forget she was there. I’m hoping she’ll be able to make more of an impact in The A-Team, considering she’s the main chick in the flick, but I’m not holding my breath. The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place LIVE this Sunday night here in SoCal and attendees are most likely putting the finishing touches on their red carpet looks in preparation for the big night. Even if those in attendance do not walk away with Golden Globe trophies, they will be going home with pretty swanky swag bags full of lots of free, great stuff … behold:

Sure there will be winners and losers at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, but everyone who attends the show will be smiling when they get this year’s gift bag. The goody-filled giveaway features a large Dooney & Bourke satchel for the ladies or a Tumi duffel bag for the men. Inside the women’s bag will be treats to help her feel beautiful, including Euphoria perfume by Calvin Klein, L’Oreal cosmetics and InStyle’s book The New Secrets of Style. The surroundings are sure to make the stars feel like a million bucks: The room features a chandelier with more than 2,000 crystals, furnishings worth $500,000 and artwork totaling about $3 million. “I wanted to combine the glamour of old Hollywood,” Bordewick tells PEOPLE, “with the contemporary glitter of today.”

In addition to these amazing gift bags, celebs of all sort (including those who will NOT be attending the Golden Globe Awards this weekend) are hitting up Gifting Suites all over town to pick up free swag even before the show takes place on Sunday night. Sure, it must be really amazing winning one of those coveted trophies but it really does sound like “an honor just to be nominated”, especially when you take into consideration all the fun swag the celebs get just for showing up at the show.

Last night I met up with my dear friends Kirsten and Darion for a last supper of sorts in Venice, CA. Because Kirst is moving back to Australia in a couple of weeks to attend medical school, last night was the last time she, Darion and me could get together for a final dinner together. We make up the original trio of Le Gang TM (which has, for various reasons, grown apart in the last year) so we wanted to make sure to have one last dinner together before she leaves:

We supped at a great place called AXE (pronounced ar-jay) on Abbot Kinney Road and had a fantastic time. David and I are gonna try and take Kirsten out for dinner just the 3 of us and then she is having a going away party before she leaves for Oz. I’m gonna miss her to death but I’m so happy she’s going to medical school. She’s gonna kick ass … I love her!!

Not sure the plans for today just yet, I’m still not feeling great after getting that tetanus shot on Wed so … we’ll see how my Friday goes.

George Eads, the beefy hottie who stars on CSI:, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Men’s Fitness magazine. Now, we don’t usually get to hear a lot from Mr. Eads cuz he’s the kind of actor that keeps his head down and doesn’t really spend much time partying on the streets of SoCal. But, he’s always been one of my fave characters on CSI: so I’m happy to see that he’s gettin’ some lurve from Men’s Fitness mag:

To be honest, Eads always struck me as the kind of dude that is better seen than heard. Uberstylish fashionista Victoria Beckham deigned to step out in public wearing a dressed down ensemble, including baggy sweat pants, here in SoCal yesterday and thought she’d be able to run her errands without being noticed by the paparazzi … she was sorely mistaken. VB got mobbed by the paps, so instead of rockin’ the look with her head held high in confidence, she cowered underneath a jacket so that people wouldn’t recognize her … a tactic that worked well, I think. Here are a couple of photos of a very embarrassed Vicki B:

Being caught make-up free and in baggy jeans and flat shoes once this week must be bad enough for Victoria Beckham. But to be snapped twice looking her less-than-glamorous self was clearly more than she could bear. As she left a building in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon, she went to great lengths to make sure she covered as much as herself as possible. Holding a black bomber jacket over her top half, she also had a member of her security staff standing by with a big black umbrella to shield her from the outside world. If it hadn’t been for the frenzied media attention outside, it would have been hard to have even recognised the Spice Girl, who was dressed very uncharacteristically in tracksuit bottoms and white trainers. But there was no denying it was Mrs Beckham, whose neck tattoos gave her away as she climbed in a limo which quickly whisked her away. Victoria, 35, never usually faces the cameras without putting her face and her heels on first. Whether she’s getting off a long-haul flight or doing a spot of shopping in Los Angeles, Victoria always looks immaculately groomed … So little wonder she was keen to keep her dressed-down look firmly under wraps yesterday.

Boo. Not only does Vicki B. look foolish but she totally wasted an opportunity to step out in the most casual way possible and look as fabulously fierce as she normally does. Had she just rocked this dressed down look with the same confidence that she rocks her couture looks, she would’ve looked amazing — no question. It’s silly behavior like this that makes her seem much more foolish rather than fabulous. Seriously, she needs to just get over this ridiculous behavior already.

Alyson Hannigan, star of the hit CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, was spotted out and about with her hubby Alexis Denisof and their adorable baby girl Satyana for a little shopping trip here in SoCal together. I understand the Hannigan-Denisofs did a bit of shopping at Gap, which proves that they are not only fashionable stylish but they are also stylishly frugal:

It’s easy to assume that celebs like to spend lots of money on designer clothing for themselves and their family but that really isn’t the case. Celebs like sales just as much as any “regular” person so I’m not surprised at all that Aly and fam like to save their money in this way. Alyson, Alexis and Satyana always look amazing, proving that you don’t need to go broke just to look good. Style comes from how you wear things, not from how much you spend on them. I think it’s safe to say that these folks are my fave celeb family … they keep it real, down to Earth and always look good doing so. Looove them!!
