Loved vs. Lavish
Heidi Klum Is Launching 2 New Maternity Collections

Supermodel and TV host Heidi Klum, who kinda made being pregnant her favorite extracurricular activity, is launching two new maternity clothing lines this year. Love by Heidi Klum was created for Motherhood Maternity while Lavish by Heidi Klum was created for A Pea in the Pod. Both collections have a “due date” of February 12th. Hmmm … two different lines for two different companies sounds like a pretty sweet deal for Mama Klum:

Just three months after welcoming her fourth child, daughter Lou Sulola, the Project Runway host announces plans to launch two maternity lines next month. Lavish by Heidi Klum and Loved by Heidi Klum will debut online and in stores Feb. 12 for A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity, respectively. (Heidi follows in the footsteps of Nicole Richie, who debuted her own line for A Pea in the Pod in August.) In keeping with Heidi’s own sexy maternity style, Lavish includes 15 pieces of “iconic style and seamless fit.” One highlight? A slinky black maxidress, $128, worthy of a red carpet arrival! Loved will offer 14 affordable items made for comfort. Pieces include a loose-fitting floral print top, $40, and blue button-down tunic, $30. Heidi brings a heck of a lot of sartorial expertise (including a combined three years of pregnancies!) to her lines. “I experienced fashion challenges during my four pregnancies and combined my knowledge of what works in terms of style, comfort and practicality to create these lines,” Heidi said today in a statement. “Being pregnant shouldn’t stop you from being fashionable and feeling great about your changing body. It’s an exciting journey.”

Seriously, if anyone needs their own maternity line it’s Heidi Klum. The woman is pregnant ALL the time! Even tho she just gave birth to a baby girl a few months ago, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if she got herself pregs again sometime this year … prolly just to be able to wear her own maternity clothing collection. After the jump, check out two promo photos that show the different styles of her different clothing lines …

A bit of a mess
Britney Spears’s First Shopping Excursion Of 2010

Our dear Britney Spears ventured out into Beverly Hills, CA yesterday to enjoy her first shopping trip of the new year. And try as I might, I am having a *very* hard time not noticing the tacky gold fringe she’s got going on on her purse. I’m also trying not to pay attention to the obvious coffee stains on her shirt in the following photos:

Ah Britney … I do love you so. I’m a bit concerned at how messy she is lookin’ in these photos mainly because they remind me of her really tragic days a few years ago. To be fair, anyone can spill coffee on themselves at any given time … but sadly, I can see how Britney might’ve just picked out an already stained shirt to wear on this excursion. Let’s just assume it was a careless accidental spill from earlier in the day, shall we? Incidentally, there’ve been some rumors that Britney has broken things off with her agent/beau Jason Trawick since the holidays. It would appear that those reports are false — after all, it was Jason who drove her to this store in Beverly Hills yesterday. Check out the photo after the jump …

"I'm a more heightened me if anything. Hyper J.Lo."
Jennifer Lopez Does ‘Elle’ Magazine, Again

Jennifer Lopez is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Elle magazine where she explains to Elle‘s faithful readers that she is just too much J. Lo for you. As you may recall, earlier this week she was quoted in Latina magazine as being *shocked* that she was not honored with an Academy Award for her work in El Cantante and now in Elle she explains how much of a hyperbeing she is now that she’s a wife and a mother (which is a warning to all those 20-year old actresses lining up to take her place). Yes, I don’t think J. Lo wants for any self-esteem. Here are a few excerpts from her Elle coverstory interview:

On why she never considered in vitro fertilization, like her character in The Back-Up Plan:
“When it comes to family and relationships, I’m quite traditional. Just because of the way I was raised. And I also believe in God and I have a lot of faith in that, so I just felt like you don’t mess with things like that. And I guess deep down I really felt like either this is not going to happen for me or it is. You know what I mean? And if it is, it will. And if it’s not, it’s not going to.”

On the merit of her romantic comedies:
“I think Maid in Manhattan and Monster-in-Law are very layered movies. And that’s why they’re so successful. People don’t like shitty romantic comedies. Nothing that’s shitty is going to make $100 million.”

On hosting a dinner for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor:
“She didn’t realize what she was going to symbolize. And it’s always scary to be thrown into it–that’s what I felt like when I did Selena. You’re thrown out there, and all of a sudden you’re not anonymous. You are now known. And that’s a lot to handle. It’s scary at first. Then you get used to it. And so she was in that moment of her life where it’s just like, What the hell? Everybody’s clapping for me. People are writing about me, talking about me, I’m on TV. She was just a judge in New York.”

On betrayal:
“This is something I haven’t been through once in my life. This is something I’ve been through a few times in my life. Where you really have your eggs in one basket and that breach happens and you know you should go but you’re still in love and you just don’t know what to do. It hits you because it’s not like you’re a cheater, and a liar, and I hate you, and you’re no good, and I’m leaving. It’s not that. It’s like, I’m tormented. Even though you’ve done this and I know it, I still don’t know what to do. I know I should go, but I don’t want to. And that’s why it’s such a fucked-up thing.”

On competing with twenty-something pop idols as a 40-year-old mom:
“This is what I do—what, because I have kids and a husband now I’m not supposed to be
me? I’m a more heightened me if anything. Hyper J.Lo. Everything I wanted before, I want twice as much now. And that doesn’t mean material things; it means to explore more, to think more. Being an artist doesn’t start because you’re 21, and it doesn’t end because you’re 51. You are who you are until the day you die.”

Oh J. Lo, I still love you. In this biz, you’ve got to have confidence (or, at the very least, you have to feign confidence) and she clearly has her fair share. While I, honestly, find her comments about the Academy Award she was robbed of humorous, I can’t really fault her for exuding all the confidence in the world. After all, she does have a new crop of 20-somethings nipping at her heels … if she falters, it’s all over. But anyways, after the jump check out a photo from J. Lo‘s Elle photospread which shows those 20-something actresses what they have to contend with …

Here they go again
Marilyn Manson & Evan Rachel Wood Are Gettin’ Hitched!

In early December we learned from Marilyn Manson himself that he and former fiancee Evan Rachel Wood were officially back together and today we are hearing from People magazine that the couple are, once again, engaged to be wed … henceforth, congratulations are in order. MM and ERW are gettin’ hitched, y’all!

Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood are engaged, a source confirms to PEOPLE. The shock-rocker reportedly proposed to the True Blood actress while he was performing on stage in Paris on Monday, according to reports. Rumors have been swirling for days about the famously on-again, off-again couple’s engagement. Reps for both Manson and Wood have remained mum on the subject. Manson, 41, began dating Wood, 22, in 2006 but the couple broke up in 2008. They briefly reconciled, then split again before getting back together. Last year, Manson revealed that he was so devastated over his breakup with Wood that he obsessed about the actress and called her incessantly. After they worked things out, Manson was quoted by the Herald Sun as saying that Wood has helped him be a better person. “Me being me at my best is what I need to be,” he said at the time. “That really paid off because I’m back with Evan.” Wood, for her part, described Mason to Elle magazine in 2007 as a “lovely, really human and just amazing. It may surprise you just how healthy and loving our relationship is.”

For the life of me, I never understood what it was about these two that worked but it seems fairly evident that they were meant to be. Considering the ups and downs their relationship has endured and the fact that they always seem to find their way back to one another seems proof enough to me that they are truly in lurve. I can’t blame MM for wanting to lock ERW down as his wife, she’s the best thing to come along since his ex-wife Dita Von Teese. ERW must just love her some Marilyn Manson, I guess. Here’s hoping they really make it this time … I’d hate for us to have to go thru another messy break-up then make-up then break-up situation again.
