Rihanna and her new LA Dodger boyfriend Matt Kemp continue to enjoy their New Year’s Mexican getaway as the pair, who just the other day went swimming with the dolphins, chartered a private yacht so that they could set sail on their very own Lurve Boat in the Sea of Cortez … behold:

Dressed in a sexy black bikini, Rihanna leans in for a tender hug from the new man in her life. The Barbadian singer was spotted aboard a luxurious yacht with the baseball star Matt Kemp who has restored her faith in men after violent ex Chris Brown. After an evening out on the tiles, the pair recovered in true millionaire style by taking a luxury yacht out on a cruise around the Sea of Cortez in Mexico. Kemp, 25, who plays for the LA Dodgers, showed off his muscular – and heavily tattooed physique – as he strutted around in a pair of black shorts. And he couldn’t fail to have been impressed that she continued her far-out style of dressing with her bikini. Well, it’s not so much a bikini as a halterneck one-piece with a lot of bits cut out. And with her curly hair and a pair of Ena Sharples-style white sunglasses, she makes for quite an extraordinary vision. Certainly Kemp looked delighted to be spending time with his Umbrella singer squeeze … Rihanna and Kemp were seen chatting with friends as they lounged around and soaked up the sun during the jaunt on the ocean. After relaxing to the max, they took to the waters on jetskis for a spot of watersports. They also tried their hand at fishing, with Rihanna donning a T-shirt which read, ‘Shut Up & Fish.’ The first rumours about the pair were sparked after Kemp joined her in Dubai, where she was performing on New Year’s eve.

Yeah, they continue to look very cute together but it doesn’t look very much like homey is too into that big hug Rihanna is giving him. She’s holding tight, he’s snapping a photo … typical dude. All in all, tho, it seems evident that the “honeymoon stage” is still very much in full effect. They appear to be having the time of their lives … it’s very nice to see. Long live Ratt Hemp!!

While hubby/daddy David Beckham was bizzy training his buns off in Milan, Italy, wifey/mommy Victoria Beckham was back home here in SoCal tending to the Beckham youngin’s. As you may recall, VB and the boys arrived home from the UK earlier this week so it looks like the first thing on the agenda was a visit to the local cinemaplex to see the most-talked about movie o’ the moment — Avatar:

Apparently in all the Beckham family holiday activities over in England there was no time to go to the movies. I’m glad the Beckham boys finally got to see Avatar but VB should’ve taken them to see the flick in IMAX 3D so their little minds could be blown. Blah, either she doesn’t know any better or she figures the kids are so young they won’t know any better (tho, my money is on the former). Ah well, at least the kiddies are home again in SoCal (apparently back in school too, they are all wearing their school uniforms in this pic) and they’ve finally seen the movie they’ve prolly been dying to see for so long. Happy day at the Beckham manse.

Last week we saw the first photos of David Beckham training with his European soccer team AC Milan in Milan, Italy and today we get to see a few more photos of Becks in training as he continues his quest to try and measure up in order to make the English Soccer team later on this year:

As any Beckham fan should be well aware, it is his life’s mission right now to prove to the English soccer team that he is good enough to play for them in the 2010 World Cup (which will take place later on this year). It is integral that he succeeds as a member of AC Milan in order to prove to his homeland team that he is good enough to play for them … so Becks is training as hard as he can. Until he shows his prowess on the fields of glory in actual soccer games, tho, he really cannot be sure of his success. I’m pullin’ for him to make the English team … it would be a nice way for him to end his soccer career. I understand the English team might even have a chance at winning the World Cup this year. It’s not as if Becks already lives an incredibly charmed life … but a World Cup championship at the end of his career might seal that deal. Good luck, Becksie poo!

It’s been many a moon since mama Lynne Spears graces the SoCal area with her presence but since her eldest daughter Britney Spears won’t fly back home to Kentwood, LA to see her, I guess mama Lynne had to fly to LA to see her daughter and grandbabies. Here is a photo of Mama Lynne making her arrival at LAX Airport yesterday:

Incidentally, Britney showed up at the Mondrian Hotel last night (presumably where Lynne was staying) but she was in NO mood to be photographed. It’s unclear if Brit was hiding a heinous blemish or if she was just feelin’ shy but she was not having it at all. Besides the fact that she arrived in her big white SUV, her dice wrist tattoo was peeking out from her hoodie so … yeah it was her. No word on what the mother-daughter Spears Summit might be all about but one hopes everything is A-OK.
