Great news for Michael Jackson fans … a previously unreleased track, titled Another Day, has mysteriously made its way to the Internets for our listening pleasure. As we learned just after MJ‘s death last June, he recorded a treasure trove of unreleased music that was meant to be his children’s legacy and it would seem that this “new” track is from that batch of unreleased music. TMZ reports that Another Day was a collaboration with Lenny Kravitz, here are some deets:

Much like 2Pac, Michael Jackson has no problem releasing new music, even though he’s … ya know, dead. An unreleased song called “Another Day” is making the rounds, an alleged duet with Lenny Kravitz. The verse Michael sings seems to be the same as from an older Kravitz song called “Storm.” Kravitz gave an interview with Spinner shortly after Michael’s death where he mentioned working with him on a song that hadn’t been released. Kravitz called it “the most amazing experience I’ve had in the studio.

My guess is that snippets of unreleased music from the late Michael Jackson will get leaked to the Internets a little bit at a time for many years to come. This track has a decidedly MJ sound to it, it could’ve been a hit. After the jump, listen to Another Day by Michael Jackson …

Michael Lohan, estranged father of Lindsay Lohan, went and got himself a brand new tattoo on his arm over the weekend to match the one that his latest girlfriend Kate Major got done on her arm. Clearly taking inspiration from the garish designs made famous by tacky fashion designer Christian Audigier, Daddy Lohan went and got himself a flaming heart on his arm … behold:

Michael Lohan took a break from recording phone calls with his daughter and (allegedly) kicking his lady friend in the baby maker to get a tattoo on Saturday with Jon Gosselin’s ex-girlfriend. Only a few days in and 2010 has already gone to hell. Lindsay’s dad and Kate Major went into a tattoo parlor and got matching tats (see above) to mark their … hell, we don’t know what they were thinking. At least it doesn’t say WORLD’S GREATEST DAD.

LOL! Everything about this scenario screams Michael Lohan. The man seems desperate to stay hip, cool and “young” and spends a lot of his time grasping a straws in order to try and regain his long lost youth. That he is getting matching (and might I had fugly) tattoos with Jon Gosselin‘s ex-girlfriends is just … sooooo perfect for Michael Lohan. To be honest, I feel almost sorry for this sad, tragic man. Well, almost. I’m sure Lohan can’t *wait* to show off his bitchin’ new ink when next he manages to attract a stray photog or two. Just … sad.

Great news for fans of actress Julie Benz of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Dexter fame … I’m happy to pass along the news that she’s got a new job these days. Now, this report will come as a bit of spoiler for those of you who have yet to see the shocking season 4 finale ep of Dexter (which aired last month on Showtime) but it is happy news for Benz supporters (like me). Let’s just say that Julie will not be appearing in season 5 of Dexter … which is fine because, according to Entertainment Weekly, she scored a new role on the ABC hit drama Desperate Housewives:

Julie Benz has bounced back from her shocking Dexter departure with a major role on Desperate Housewives. Sources confirm to me exclusively that Benz — whose character, Rita, succumbed to the most horrific bubble bath in television history in last month’s Dexter finale — has been cast in the recurring role of Debbie, a stripper with a heart of gold and a Masters degree in education. When Susan offers her the chance to transition into a more legitimate career, Deb jumps at it. Benz is booked for at least three episodes, the first of which is scheduled to air in February.

Yay!! This is amazing news, I’m very pleased to know that Julie scored a new gig so quickly. As some of you may recall, I was able to speak directly with Julie Benz about the circumstances that occurred in the season 4 finale of Dexter (a conversation that you can listen to in full HERE) and she mentioned that it was her hope that her next job would be on a comedy. Desperate Housewives is technically a drama but I suppose it’s a funny drama. It’s a shame that Julie will only be on DH for 3 eps because her addition to the show is enough to make me start watching … perhaps her stint will turn into something more, therefore winning at least one new viewer. We shall see.

Matthew McConaughey has announced on his official website that his babymama Camila Alves has given birth to the couple’s second child early Sunday January 3, 2010. McConaughey proudly announces that his second child is a girl the couple have named Vida Alves McConaughey:

It’s a girl for Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves. The couple welcomed daughter Vida Alves McConaughey at 12:13 a.m. Sunday, the actor posted on his Web site. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 7 oz and joins big brother Levi, 17 months. McConaughey, 40, and Alves, 26, announced the pregnancy in June, blogging, “We pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time. Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows.” The couple, who began dating in 2006, chose not to find out the sex of the baby prior to delivery, just as they did with Levi. McConaughey encouraged fans to guess, however. “Not sure if it’s a boy or girl but we have our instincts,” he wrote. “What are you thinking?”

Yes, folks, back in June of last year Matthew blogged about the coming of his second child and now he is, once again, blogging in order to share the announcement of his baby girl’s birth. Considering how adorably cute the couple’s first child Levi Alves is, I’m sure little Miss Vida Alves will be just as adorable. Much love and congrats goes out to the newly expanded family!! I can’t wait to see her!!
