Yesterday I posted a newslink about a rumored coffee date in Brooklyn, NY shared by Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift … a date that I tried not to think about too much despite all the reported details of the encounter. THEN … ugh … then, a new photo made its way to Twitter that showed Jake and Taylor on another coffee date, this time in Nashville, TN! Blah … not only are Jake and Taylor happily grabbing coffee together but they are doing so IN DIFFERENT STATES! UGH! Here is the offending photo and the new deets of this new coffee date:
Two days after enjoying maple lattes together in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Thanksgiving, Swift and Gyllenhaal popped up in the singer’s hometown of Nashville. On Saturday afternoon, the couple were spotted getting a late breakfast at Fido, a coffeehouse and café near Vanderbilt University and Music Row. “They were smiling and laughing. They were talking a lot and enjoying each other’s company,” fellow diner Elaina Mishu tells PEOPLE. “They didn’t look like [just] friends.” Customer Emma Rice, who snapped a photo of the pair, calls the duo “very cute” and says, “They seemed close.”
What.The.Effing.EFF?!?!? You may recall that we first saw Jake and Taylor together last month when they went apple picking together in NY with friends. Now they’ve moved on to coffee dates? FML! I’m hearing reports that the couple, who refuse to talk about this new “relationship” in interviews, are not at all shy about hiding their affection for one another when they are out together in public. I can’t even … I just don’t get it. I mean, I totally get what she sees in him … but really Jake? Are you kidding me here? OY! I’m not sure how much more of this my frail little heart (and stomach) can take.

I really don’t understand why so many people hate Taylor Swift? I actually really like her and appreciate that she actually writes her own music rather than other entertainers who just sing whats is in front of them. She’s got a lot of songs about guys but if you’d been writing since you were 15-ish then yeah, you might have a lot of songs about that subject. I mean I don’t have anything against Britney but she sings a LOT of songs about dancing……literally…..that she likes to dance…..that she loves the beat…..so I don’t fault Taylor at all for singing about loving someone.
Not that I necessarily understand this relationship really….I don’t hate it, I don’t love it. I just don’t care really. But I think Taylor Swift seems like a genuine person, I like that she’s quirky and funny, and that even though she has accomplished quite a bit she seems to still be shocked and thankful for good things that come her way.

Her inabilty to sing live aside, Taylor seems like a girl next door type and really sweet so with the exception of the age difference I don’t see what the big deal is. Jake is more of the next door boy type and they probably have a lot more in common then we on the outside know. Jake has been known to date really sweet homey type girls for the most part so I actually not surprised by the pair.
This does not compute in my brain. I’m chalking it up to something their publicists put together and moving on…I hope they do the same.

I don’t see anything strange with their relationship if Taylor stops acting like she’s still a teenager. My friend started dating a 30-year old when she was about a same age as Taylor and three years later they are still together and just bought a house. But Taylor + Jake, over by Christmas I’m guessing. And then Taylor can write a song about all this.

Why the hate on Taylor Swift? I really couldn’t tell ya the exact reason, but perhaps people feel the same was as I do. She just…bothers me! Something about her personality, or the way she acts, etc… I really can’t pinpoint it, but she annoys me for some reason. So yeah, maybe we’re being mean, but sometimes you just can’t explain why you are revolted by someone, or something, as in this whole “relationship” right here. :)
