Jane Lynch Reveals That Sue Sylvester Is Gettin’ Hitched On ‘Glee’

At this week’s BAFTA/LA‘s Brittania Awards which honored Golden Girl Betty White, Glee star Jane Lynch revealed the spoiler that her character, Sue Sylvester, is gettin’ hitched! To who? When? Why? Well, we don’t know just yet … but read on for the deets that were spilled by Jane to People magazine:

Jane Lynch’s ever-scheming character on Glee, Sue Sylvester, is going to have a surprise wedding, the Emmy-winner tells PEOPLE – who also reveals some other big moments coming to the show, including guest spots by Gwyneth Paltrow and Carol Burnett. “Sue gets married – that’s all I’m going to tell you,” Lynch, who tied the knot with psychologist Laura Embry in June, told PEOPLE at BAFTA/LA’s Brittania Awards, where Betty White was honored. “I probably shouldn’t have said anything!,” added Lynch, who would only say that the TV wedding will take place within the next three or four episodes – and it won’t be a big musical blow-out. Then there’s Paltrow’s guest shot: “I did a couple of scenes with Gwyneth. She’s got the goods,” says Lynch, 50. “She can sing, she can dance. I really was [blown away]. I saw them doing a mash-up of ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ and ‘Umbrella,’ and they are singing and dancing their hearts out, and Gwyneth is leading them. She’s amazing.” As Lynch explained, “She’s a substitute teacher for Will [Matthew Morrison]. Will gets the monkey flu and I expose him to it – I turn a sneezing kid on him so that he gets the monkey flu” … As for Sue’s relationship with the new sub, “It’s friendly – and then, of course, as with all relationships with Sue Sylvester, it turns antagonistic.”

OMG … I can’t wait to see Sue‘s wedding ceremony. $10,000.000 says Sue will walk down the aisle wearing a white track suit. While I normally hate hearing TV spoilers so early before they actually happen on the show, I am glad she spilled the deets on this one … now we have something fun to look forward to. I’m also really looking forward to Gwyneth Paltrow‘s appearance on the show. Ever since we got our first look at Gwynnie on Glee last week, I can’t WAIT to see what she brings to the show.
