Back in mid-September we got our first look at Rihanna‘s music video for her song Who’s That Chick? which leaked early to the Internets ahead of its scheduled release date. I guess the video was actually a commercial for Doritos or something … I’m not entirely sure. Today we get to check out the official release of the Who’s That Chick? music video … in two versions. First up, tho, here are a few promo photos that have been released to hype up the release of the two different videos for Who’s That Chick?
I guess Rihanna filmed two almost exact scene-by-scene versions of this video … one is the Day Version (the colorful video we saw last month) and the other is the Night Version (less color, more goth). Check out both videos side-by-side, after the jump …
I dunno … I like both vids. As garish as the Day Version video is, I really love the hyper-intensity of the color palette. The Night Version video is pretty cool, too. Try and watch the above embed in full screen mode so you can compare the vids more easily. Which one do you prefer?

I’ll be honest. I loved watching them all juxtaposed against each other there! I hadn’t seen the first one so I thought it was just a genius idea to shoot it twice!
I prefer the 80′s vibe version better, goes better with the song for me, but I can still appreciate the darker version.

Love love love Rihanna but don’t understand this new musical direction. Its complete and utter bullshit! Its horrible. I’m glad some people like it but I’m not one of them. So is this album out yet? Is it doing well?

The auto-tune actually works, ya gotta have some auto-tune on an album like LOUD.
I didnt wanna believe her when she said she was making a “Thriller” – no fillers, all hits.
Rated R is as i’ve said many times one of the best Pop/R&B albums and yeah it had some fillers, but the fillers were just great songs that radio couldn’t handle properly.
I watched more of the colour, but the dark video would look cool if released separately.

im now obsessed with this song… but i think i like the ‘night’ version better because its like ‘disturbia’ rihanna… and i dont think i can go from ‘hard’ to ‘day’ version… its just… weird. but i like both videos together. idk. im weird.
Love this new song and the video. If I have to choose, I prefer the day version ’cause it kinda suits the party vibe of the song. But the night or dark version is also fantastic. I love her last album and I’m looking forward to this one.
