Megan Fox, Gabourey Sidibe, Amanda Seyfried & Lauren Conrad Do ‘Elle’ Magazine

The 25th Anniversary Issue

Elle magazine is celebrating its 25th anniversary with its October Issue and they have decided to put Megan Fox, Gabourey Sidibe, Amanda Seyfried and Lauren LC Conrad each on the cover of their very own issues of this special anniversary edition. Here is our first look at Megan and Gabourey‘s Elle coverphotos along with quotes from each from their coverstory interviews:

Megan FoxOn being married: “When I talk about my husband [Brian Austin Green], I feel as if people roll their eyes. It’s like when you’re 16 and order a martini, and the waiter says, ‘Do you think I’m stupid?’ They can’t grasp that I’m old enough to be married.”

Gabourey SidibeOn celebrating her twenty-fifth birthday: “Part of me thought it would be weird if people knew I was a grown-up playing a teenager in Precious. So I had a twenty-first-birthday party. We had drinks and went to a strip club called Shotgun Willie’s.”

I love this idea! Elle always comes up with fun ways to celebrate their magazine, putting 4 different girls on 4 different covers is a great idea. After the jump, check out the coverphotos that feature Amanda Seyfriend and Lauren LC Conrad

Amanda SeyfriedWhat are the best and worst things about turning 25? “The best thing is, I’m happy. The worst is that I’m scared; the scariest thing is that I know it can’t be easy—the years to come.”

Lauren ConradBest part of being in her twenties: “It’s your time to be selfish; you still have freedom.” Where she thought she’d be now: “I was never that girl who just wanted babies. I wanted a career before all of that.”

In addition to celebrating these young women in the mag, Elle is also celebrating The Elle 25 which is a list of the Top 25 People, Movies and Music that YOU need to know about for 2010. Whether you want to collect all 4 covers or are happy with just one, the 25th anniversary issue of Elle magazine hits newsstands this week! Which copy do YOU want to get?

  1. Erin

so the skinny girls get a full body cover and the chubby girl gets a close up? shitty. real shitty.

  2. Winona

@Erin – exactly – think I’ll buy a Gabby cover one just to send a message.

  3. nicole

@Erin – as sad as it is…does it really surprise you?
    anyways i want Gabby,Megans & Amandas. i love those 3 girls.

  4. Really emerald? They couldn’t hook a girl up with a white and styled it up with some accessories and a decent weave? Bogus! Disappointed in Elle.

  5. I ment to say white dress*

  6. krissy

Megan looks like a completely different person, her face is turning to plastic.

  7. I agree with Erin. I’m glad they put Gabourie on the cover but with a big gal, they only show her face. People come in all different shapes and sizes and it’s time Hollywood figured that out and stopped treating plus size people as if they should be hidden away. As for the “but it’s unhealthy to be heavy” rant, it is also unhealthy to be stick skinny because a person never eats or throws up everything they eat.
I am speaking as a big person myself and an advocate for size acceptance. I have been on all ends of the spectrum. I’ve been the barely over 100 pounds gal who starves herself, over-exercises and forces herself to vomit. At this point I’m overweight but I think I’m actually healthier in most ways than when I was engaging in those other behaviors. It would be nice to lose some weight but if I don’t, c’est la vie.

  8. Mr. Gyllenhaal

Oh people are so dramatic. Gabourey Sidibe looks amazing as do all the other ladies!!

  9. Erin

Yes she does because she is probably the ONLY one they didnt photoshop part of her ribs and legs to where she is a barbie look a like. They just cut off her body as if to say we think she is great but we hate her body.

@nicole..it doesn’t surprise me but one would think they would want to try at least say we accept an actress not just for amazing acting ability but her body which THE ENTIRE WORLD accepts.

  10. CHASE

TEAM LAUREN CONRAD! Her cover is AMAZING and it totally owns everyone else’s! Damn, that girl knows how to work it. Srsly. Megan Fox’s face looks so fucked up. Amanda’s looks awkward and maybe Gabourey’s other pictures weren’t cover material? Ever think of that? Puhleez, bro.

  11. Rudy

I think they all look amazing! I need to order my subscription. I think Megan Fox looks beautiful!

  12. Brady

Omg quit being so damn dramatic thy all look beautiful im sure mrs sidibe aint stressin over it their beautifuk women EQUALLY

  13. marz

ewww lauren conrad looks disgusting. her face looks really long. she is just so gross.

  14. Shan

Ummm why is anyone surprised it is a non-body shot of Gaby… maybe she couldn’t fit on the cover? KIDDING, people… stop being so sensitive!!

  15. @di from NYC

I think Gaby looks good except for that horrible weave they put on her head, you would think Elle could afford better quality and a decent stylist to do Gaby’s hair

  16. Val 2.0

Maybe it’s just the tiny picture on my phone, but does Megan Fox look like a partially shucked corn on the cobb to anyone else?

  17. KatB

I love both Gabby & Amanda – wonderful, beautiful actresses, so I might be getting two Elle’s ;)

  18. Gaby’s hair looks awful..

  19. carma

I’m guilty of what Megan Fox said, that it’s kindda hard to believe she’s married.

  20. TwoDozenRoses

    Lauren’s makeup looks horrible
