Bravo TV has announced that the premiere season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will debut on Bravo on Thursday October 14 and today gives us our first look at the cast of what promises to be the most superficial installment of the franchise yet. Say hello to the Real Housewives of 90210:
Building on the record-breaking success of “The Real Housewives” franchise, Bravo is heading to one of the most glamorous cities in the world for its newest installment, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The highly anticipated series premieres on Thursday, October 14 at 10 p.m ET/PT. The series follows six of the most affluent women in the country as they enjoy the lavish lifestyle that only Beverly Hills can provide. “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” offers a glimpse inside the world of luxurious wealth and pampered privilege, where being seen and who you know is everything. These women are in the center of it all and they have the mansions, the cars, and the diamonds to prove it. From heiresses to entrepreneurs to a family of child actresses – “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” deliver the star power and the drama. Viewers can see interviews with the ladies on Bravotv.com and get a sneak peak at the new series.
Lord have mercy, here we go again! From just one viewing of the promo video released for the series, I can tell that this installment of the Real Housewives will be the most outrageously (and grossly) opulent of all. And what the women lack in spirited youthfulness, they more than make up for in drama … natch. After the jump, check out the preview video for the premiere season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and read short bios on the cast …

Taylor Armstrong – Taylor Armstrong is a stunning Oklahoman native who moved to Beverly Hills seven years ago. She is married to venture capitalist Russell Armstrong and together, they have one four-year-old daughter named Kennedy. This Midwestern girl knows how powerful men in Beverly Hills work, so she makes sure that she is always looking her best because she knows that something younger and prettier can always come along and catch her husbands’ eye. Taylor is not just a beauty; she has brains too and is passionate about both her business and philanthropic work. She founded her own SAP firm, eImplement Inc. and also volunteers for the 1736 Family Crisis Center. Taylor enjoys the chic lifestyle Beverly Hills has to offer but doesn’t elude to the fact that “beautiful women are a dime a dozen.” Even though she has adapted well to the luxurious lifestyle Beverly Hills offers, she has the “work hard, play hard” attitude that has enabled her to maintain her own identity.
Ridic! I can’t wait to watch. I think my fave Housewife is the one who carries around her toy dog and has a live in gay male trainer. She looks fun. Camille Grammar, I gotta say, totally grossed me out with her proclamation that she has 4 nannys … on a rotating schedule. The fact that she is “trying to be green” by cutting down on her private jet usage is also disgusting. Will this show be as good as the other installments of the Real Housewives franchise? Perhaps. Will I watch it religiously whether it’s good or not? Yes. And don’t lie, you know YOU will too ;)
