In order to generate hype for the release of the upcoming horror film The Last Exorcism (due out August 27), Lionsgate decided to have a little fun with some of the unsuspecting voyeurs on Chatroulette (the site that lets you video chat randomly with anyone who happens to be online at the same time, anywhere in the world). Lionsgate targeted interested viewers (mostly guys) who thought they were gonna chat with a girl who was going to take off her top … instead they got something a bit more surprising:

I’m a big Lionsgate horror fan so I’ll be seeing The Last Exorcism for sure when it opens next week. I hope we get to see more fun viral stuff like this as well.

Saw the film at Fantasia Fest in Montreal a few weeks back…not really scary, people were mostly laughing and the ending ruined the film for me and most of my collegues. One person actually screamed “It Sucked” at the end even though the director was present for the screening. Don’t give into the hype! Cheers!

@Kendra I worked in a movie rental store for almost 4 years and you’d be surprised at how many groups of guys come in to get a (straight) porn to watch.
