Meet The Cast Of ‘Survivor: Nicaragua’

Older vs. Younger

Here is our first look at the new cast of the 21st season of Survivor. This time around, the contestants will compete to Outwit Outlast and Outplay in Nicaragua … but with a twist. According to People magazine, the contestants were split into 2 tribes based on their ages. The Espada tribe is made up of players 40 years old and older and the La Flor tribe is made up of player who are 30 years old and younger. Behold, the cast of Survivor: Nicaragua:

In past seasons, Survivor has pitted heroes against villains, men versus women, fans against returning favorites and even ethnic group against ethnic group. When the hit series returns for its 21st season, the contestants will compete in another twist of competition — a battle of the ages. As the 20 new castaways prove whether age is really just a number, they will rough it out in Nicaragua, where they will be divided into two tribes based on birthdays: The Espada Tribe for individuals 40 and older and the La Flor Tribe for those 30 and younger.

It sounds a lot like the Survivor folks are lookin’ to see if wisdom and experience will be able to win out over youthful exuberance. I’ve watched enough Survivor to know that it’s not always about age in this game, it’s about likability. I ain’t even gonna lie, I love watching Survivor and I can’t wait to see this new cast of players go head to head to head in Nicaragua. After the jump, read short bios of all 21 contestants and watch a short promo video provided by CBS to hype up the new season of Survivor

i cant wait! i think having the ages group together will be a good thing especially for the start, where in the past the older ppl get voted off early because they dont “fit in” with the rest of the group.

I am so excited!! We have a Survivor pool here at work and it gets very competitive. We’ve even sucked in non-watchers in to watching it!!

  3. F

I’m so glad they brought the old folks back…it sucks when they only feature young bimbos and hunks all the time, so shallow! Survivor’s more than just looks, it’s about smarts!

  4. Monica

awesome! love this show, i miss your weekly survivor episode summaries! please bring them back :D

  5. brittany

I haven’t watched survivor since the first season but I LOVE the fact that jimmy johnson will be on so I might have to tune in! Gooooo Jimmy :)

  6. rossy

Haven’t they done this show to death? 21 YEARS it’s been on?! I mean, seriously, how many ways can tribes be made up before it gets repetitive… I’m waiting for the day when there are NO tribes at all but every man/woman for themselves for the ENTIRE season.

  7. Angie

Do I see a lady with a prosthetic leg on the far left in the first picture that you posted of the cast? WOW!! I am already a fan of hers!

  8. Wonder how long it took them to find the only fifty-year-old dudes who don’t have any chest hair.

  9. Steve

What are the birthdays of the cast?

  10. boiboi

they keep beatin up on the only black girl on there. it would have been different if they added more sisters that are pretty enough, especially when tey find sisters that look like all the other normal women of the world that aint black.
