Last Friday we got to check out a bunch of photos from the Michigan set of Scream 4 which featured stars Courteney Cox-Arquette and Scream newcomer Adam Brody filming scenes for the new movie. You may recall, we also got our first look at the ghostface killer mask on the Scream 4 set. Today we get to see a whole lot more photos of the ghostface killer mask which seems to have invaded the movie set … and how:
I understand that in the film, the city of Woodsboro celebrates a massive Stab-A-Thon festival in honor of the fictional Stab film franchise which exists in the Scream film franchise. I kinda love when all the ghostface killer masks come out into the open because it makes it all the more easier for the film’s killer to get his/her work done. This convention was used very well in the opening scene of Scream 2. Yes, there’s Scream standard-bearing Courteney Cox hard at work with newcomer Allison Brie as well as other newcomers Hayden Panettiere, Marielle Jaffe and Rory Culkin chillin’ in between takes. You will also note that director Wes Craven is also doing his thing in the second photo here. I am loving all these pics from the set of Scream 4, I bet it’s really fun for the folks who live in these Michigan towns where the movie is being filmed. I wonder how much more fun stuff we’ll get to see as filming production continues.
I wonder if one of the new girls will trying shoving her body through a cat door in this one. It would be kind of cool, not gonna lie. ; ) Oh, and hopefully more chase scenes as well instead of like, “Oh hai, meet my knife” thang.
I live where it’s being filmed and I drive past this location going to and from work everyday – it’s been fun having them in town!
