Yesterday we learned that Lindsay Lohan returned home to SoCal Saturday night from her trip to Cannes, France last week so that she can appear before the judge overseeing her DUI probation case in court later on this morning. Right now, we get to watch a short video interview with Lindsay wherein she tries to explain all of her recent behavior that has been leading up to today’s court appearance and touches on subjects like her alleged drug use, her alleged partying, her non-existent relationship with her father Michael Lohan and more. It would seem that Lindsay agreed to do this interview, filmed by Hollywood.tv, in order to try and shoot down all of the negative reports going around about her before she goes into court to plead her case to the judge. Lindsay reveals that she was in Cannes to do press for an upcoming film called Inferno — NOT to party with her friends as has been reported; she claims that she stopped in someone’s room to innocently take a picture with “a fan” and that she had “no idea” what was in the room, therefore she couldn’t know if there were drugs in the room; she reveals that she has been set up in the past and hopes she wasn’t set up by this photo this time; she denies taking drugs; she doesn’t understand why she might be sent to prison, explains that she missed “one class” due to an uncle’s death, suggests the only person who wants to see her in jail is her father; she explains she was stuck in Cannes due to a lost passport and reveals that other items were missing as well; she reveals that she has no connection with her father because he is a convicted felon; she clarifies that she was “not partying in Cannes” she was “there for work”; she claims that she has “always taken responsibility for her actions, always”; she doesn’t understand a need for rehab, maintains she has been in full compliance of the terms of her probation, calls her father “clearly insane”; she denies financial problems; she explains that she is very upset that she missed her brother’s college graduation yesterday because she had to prepare for court today
Whether or not this video will have any impact on her court hearing today (highly unlikely), it seems like she is really just trying to do damage control with the public, in the media by telling her side of the story. She is not even 25 years old, and she looks around 40, in an industry that ensures the 40 year olds look 25. That basically says it all. Sad.
She needs help this is sad to watch her decline I hope she gets the help she needs. AND learns to take responsibility for her actions
I thought I’d be the last person to say something nice about her, but for some reason, here, I believe hitr, even if she is playing the victim a bt. She seems to need sleep and a healthy lifestyle. She looks tired and it shows in her skin.

And she stays away from her father because he is a convicted felon? Puh, leeze. There are lots of other reasons to stay away from that douche, but that isn’t valid considering you, Lindsay Lohan, are also in fact a convicted felon (for DUI). And denying partying when there are countless photos of said partying is ridiculous. I don’t believe anything that comes out of her mouth.
While I sniff liar from her mannerisms, she’s hard to read. Does she know how messed up she (“appears”) to be?
She is all excuses… its all a bunch of lies that she must actually believe to justify herself… If she appears this way it is clearly the way you are dear. Sorry. Get your life together. Go on a run in the park, take a trip to a damn art museum or somthing, jeez.. maybe they will photograph that… yet all she is ever doing is looking like a mess partying her life away
@Brenda… spot on girl! so true… and i know that Michael is a convicted felon and so is Lindsay, but at least her father didnt endanger the lives of others. She could have killed people when she got in her Drunk Driving Accident…. far worse. and I know everyone bashes on Michael, but MOST fathers want the best for their children even if they have made serious mistakes in the past. It shows what type of Character Lindsanity has to not give her father a chance to help her.
It wouldn’t surprise me if a “fan” did try to set her up with that picture, but in any case, she looks awful and I hope she gets the help she needs.

“It sucks” Well whose fault is it that she missed her brother’s graduation? She implies that its the court’s fault. If she would obey the laws, she wouldn’t be missing anything.
