Early last week we got our first look at Jason Momoa (Stargate: Atlantis) in full costume as Conan the Barbarian on the set of the upcoming movie remake of the original 80′s film (which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead role) and today we get to see a few more photos of Jason as Conan. Pink reader Miguel pointed me in the direction of a Conan the Barbarian fansite that has even more photos clandestinely snapped from the set:
At first I was really bummed that meaty actor Kellan Lutz lost out on the chance to play Conan in this remake but these new photos of the very beefy Jason Momoa have changed my mind completely. I can’t be entirely certain but I think these photos were snapped from inside the make-up trailer on the set of the film. The photos look like guides for the make-up people to be able to recreate Conan‘s look on a daily basis. Wherever these pics were snapped, they are a welcome sight. I think the first photo of Jason as Conan is my fave of the bunch. He looks great, no? I don’t know about you but these photos got me all excited for the release of this film.

He’s gonna kill it! I’m so excited for this huge role for Jason….I’ve known him since we were in high school but ran into him last fall at a Dave Matthews concert. Still exactly the same old dude (who happens to have Denise Huxtable’s babies!)….I love that!
UGH!!! Emily — You know Jason and went to school with him? I’m so jealous. I LOVE this man. At first I was not interested in seeing the remake of Conan and as soon as I found out Jason got the lead role. I’ve be ready for it every since. I can’t wait for this movie. Jason looks good and he is a good actor too. Unlike Kellan (who I like by the way) but the truth is the truth.

jason is gorgeous….i can just imagine how beautiful the kids he’s made with lisa bonet are. i remember when he was on some baywatch type show-was it actually baywatch? so yummy….
