Christina Aguilera Celebrates Mother’s Day, Announces Concert Tour

Plus, hear new song 'Woohoo' & see tracklist for 'Bionic'

Christina Aguilera spent her Mother’s Day with her husband Jordan Bratman, her son Max Liron and her younger brother Michael in NYC yesterday (braving the chilly weather together) and today announced that she is going on tour to support her upcoming new album Bionic! Here is a cute pic of Xtina with her men and the deets about her upcoming tour:

Christina Aguilera, songwriter, actress, philanthropist and one of the greatest singers of her generation, has confirmed her highly anticipated return to the stage with a global tour. Aguilera, who releases her new album Bionic on June 8, announces 20 North American dates starting on July 15. The singer will be joined by British pop chanteuse Leona Lewis. Tickets go on sale May 21, and all fans who purchase tickets before June 4 will receive a download code for a digital copy the album on June 7, the day before its official release. Before Aguilera takes her act on the road, she’ll appear on the MTV Movie Awards on June 6th, the Today Show Summer Concert Series on June 8th (the same day of her album’s release), Late Show with David Letterman on June 9th, Live! With Regis & Kelly on June 10th, The Early Show on Friday, June 11th, the Today Weekend Show on Saturday, June 12th, VH1 Storytellers on June 13th and a surprise appearance or two in the coming weeks.

After the jump, check out the first batch of concert dates announced, listen in full to Xtina‘s new song Woohoo (featuring Nicki Minaj) and watch video of Xtina‘s performance of Not Myself Tonight on The Oprah Winfrey Show last Friday

Definitely, & please tell that delusional Perez Hilton to stop ruining other people’s business. Gaga’s shoulder pads just flew off from Xtina’s beting.

  2. nicole

i LOVE that new song heard it a couple days ago and im hooked…..i could do without the Nicki verse (i cant stand her)…but it was a smart move to put her on a track. perfect cross over song like ‘Cant Hold Us Down’.
i hear ‘Lift Me Up’ is suppose to be a really good song.
    - and im soooooooo there for this tour. havent seen her live since the Justified/Stripped tour. i was sick her last time around.
    - its offical…if i wasnt pumped before…i am now.

  3. Mr. Gyllenhaal

Yahtzee….she is coming to Phoenix!! I will be there. HOLLA!

  4. Tom

Awful. I’m so disappointed with this entire era already.

  5. erica

@ nicole….Lift Me Up is amazing. I suggest YouTubing it or downloading it.

  6. nicole

@erica – i’ve tried to find it on YT- but every link i find is always dead :(

  7. krissy

I am very excited to hear her full cd. Very sad she isn’t coming to LA…I have to drive to Irvine or San Diego? Boo! I am really interested to hear that track with Peaches!

  8. J

is Lift Me Up exactly like her performance on the Haiti Charity thing? That is a great performance but i’ve always wanted it to be different to fit the theme and its not just in their as a sloppy ballad, even though it is a pretty great ballad at that.

  9. Dina

AWESOME! WooHoo is a SMASH HIT! I want to hear it on the radio all the time when I’m not in home. anyway, excited to see her on tour! The tracklist looks great, though i miss ladytron!

  10. Daisy

that song is amazing. the beat is so fresh. I might just have to check this album out when it drops.

  11. BUNIFAH

    YES YES!
I LOVE AGUILERA and her new album will be AMAZING! she is coming for them haters wigs! THEY BETTER SIT CAUSE LEGEND IS BACK AND BOLDER THAN EVER! ~ as OPRAH said!

    YES

  12. Mark

Woohoo is just so embarrassing!!! This era is terrrrrrriiibbbblleee.

  13. Manda

I’m still kind of so-so about Woohoo. I hate the little “woohoo” part. I’ve always run out to buy Christina’s cds the day they come out, but this one I might wait on….

  14. dave

Love the new track, cant wait to hear all the album Im pretty sure her tracks are gonna be awesome she always gives her all in every album, Im really intrigued with this one!

  15. CHASE

I’m a lukewarm Christina fan, but I’m definitely digging her new stuff. However, that song is HORRIBLE! Ew, no, and no. It’s kind of…gross? Nasty? Ick!

  16. nicole

@J- no its suppose to be different. still a ballad, but its suppose to fit better with the album

  17. nicole

@J – atleast thats what ive heard

  18. Tim

@ Xadax What Happen?Staying away for years between Cds hurt her..11 years and very little music can kill a pop star career..Playing Amphitheaters is sad..This isn’t the comeback Aguilera fans were hoping for..And for Perez Hilton I don’t go there anymore its turn into a Lady Gagag fan site.

  19. nicole

@Tim – theres nothing wrong with Amphitheaters…hell i saw BSB at the Moloson Amp. when they were at the top of thier career.

  20. krissy

Amphitheaters are for SINGERS. If you play in an arena, the accoustics are terrible, they are made for sports not music. I think it is great that she is performing with Leona.

  21. JeniLee

blahh more intros? stop with the intros christina!

  22. Jerseyhater

I’m sure she’ll be soooo “proud” of these skanky songs when her son gets old enough to discern what his momma was singing about. Yuck.

  23. Jessica

Just bought the fan edition..so excited!! I was a little taken aback when I got to the check out though because it says $52 on the front page but then $100 at the check out..apparently for canada it’s $35 shipping (ouch)!!

  24. Bee

@ Jessica, if you live close to a border crossing, there’s often places that you can ship to within the US. My mom does it all the time when she orders from ebay, because shipping’s always free/cheap within the US, but as soon as they cross the border, its like 20 bucks. I get that its probably too late for you, but for next time if its at all possible, I’d look into that :)

  25. T-T

@JeniLee I actually like all of Xtina’s intros on all of her albums, they actually sound good i.e stripped part 1 & 2, welcome, back to basics intro, etc. A lot of other artists have crappy intros JUST to have an intro.. know what I’m saying? I can’t wait for the album! It gets released in Australia 4 days earlier! YAYYY!!

  26. Nicola

Yes, definitely. Christina is awesome :)

  27. allison

I am confused who she really is. And I hate her hair. I am tired of the comeback queens trying to please the 21 year old club scene crowd. She’s not herself tonight, then sing about who the hell she really is!

Her voice is amazing, the songs are cheap!

  28. Xadax

Can’t any of her haters understand that the album has a playful side to it not all hypercritical, they’re so dumb ugh.

  29. Peppylicious

I do like this song!! It reminds me of her Stripped album, which was my fav from Christina. I was’nt a fan of her last one…Back to Basics…so hopefully Bionic will be all about those sexy/catchy pop songs we love soo much :)

    p.s
I don’t like her bleached curly & short hair style she got going on. It reminds me of a cheap Halloween wig.

  30. truthyisalways

Can I just say that in this pic with her fam she’s about 100 times more intriguing and interesting than with a gag ball in her mouth or any of the other gross pix for bionic I’ve seen so far.

  31. Elise

This song is gross and I’m disappointed. No one wants to hear about your crotch, there are better things to sing about, C.A. then your oral sex experiences. It’s not artistic, it’s not different, however it is lewd and classless. She could have done so much better, instead she’s grasping for relevancy in a post-pop-star world. Yeah, we get it, you’re older now, you have sex, wow, no one cares.

  32. gayana

im a big fan of xtina, went to her concerts, met her backstage… i love her BUT THIS track is so disappointing… it might be a dissent track but knowing that its coming from xtina… thats just sad… too low for her level, too gross for her class… boring
